Works Exactly as Intended
This light is SUPER bright, and it's easy - just plug and play. Needed a good bright light for our attic and this certainly did the trick! It is almost blinding - do NOT look directly at it or you will be seeing spots

Choose Wisely
I think these are great bulbs if installed in the right location. But when we tried using them in a control room area with unpainted wood ceilings and block walls for a client, we didn't see much improvement over 60 watts LEDs. We'll put on some fresh white paint and see if we can improve the reflectivity.We had the same problem trying to use them out in an unfinished garage. Again, I think the background just sucks up the light. If you have a highly reflective area to place these, I think they'll do you a good job and light things up nicely. I'd buy them again, but I'd pay more attention to where I'm putting them.

Nice bright light for outdoors
The first one I used, (same product but from a different vendor) lasted only one year. I have a theory that these bulbs won't last the advertised time as they are unprotected. There are many holes for venting heat and those holes allow little bugs to short out the terminals causing short bulb life. The light attracts bugs so you can't stop this issue.But this bulb sure puts out the light. I use it outside the garage and it is much better than the mercury vapor bulb I used previously. Just use a fixture that doesn't block any of the LED's.

36 watts you meant?
They actually draw 36 watts of energy (cold start)off of standard USA 110-20 Voltage 330 mA. They're fairly bright. As far as claimed lumens I can't dispute because I don't have a fancy integrating sphere. However, because their inability to accurately advertise the proper amount of power consumed I doubt the lumen count is accurate. The light gets warm to the touch but does not get very hot which is great because the LEDs will last longer. I decided I liked the LED setup I modified the light hooking a 70 watt(68w) driver to it. Which it handles just fine and still only reaches 160 degrees.

Bright, saves energy, ugly but works fantastic in my Garage
My 8 foot fluorescent lamp in my garage stopped working. Rather than repair the bad ballast for $xxx dollars and my time so I purchased this corn cob light. These LED bulbs simply screw right into any existing light bulb socket. They are very bright and efficient at 60 watts. My garage light problem was solved quickly and easily. And….no more slow starts in the winter or buying the large 8 foot fluorescent bulbs and no more having to bring bad bulbs to our local transfer station when only THEY are open!!! Great deal get one you will be impressed.
