Outdoor Entertainment Gear by Camp Chef, OS120L Backyard Big Indoor/Outdoor Portable Movie Projection Screen

I recently Purchased a BenQ 1070 Projector and needed a screen to complete my backyard theater setup. I did my research for a while and even saw some of the inflattable screens in person before finally deciding on the Camp Chef 120L Screen. For those on the fence about picking one up, I can tell you it is much better than the inflattable screens outthere (no noise, no technical issue to worry about, screen is better material). The setup time is around 5 minutes, but you will need 2 people. We have watched a few movies such as Pacfic Rim and Despicable Me and the screen works great with the BenQ 1070. We have also watched boxing matches and a few highdef soccer games and everyone who see's it wants this set up. If your looking for a screen for your outdoor theater or for a camping trip, it hard to beat the Camp Chef screen for the quality, price and convenience.Also I know some have complained about wrinkles on the screen, they are very easy to remove if you have a small portable steamer which is the recommended method per the Camp Chef website. We got one for around 40 dollars and it works great at removing the small wrinkles, which to be honest aren't noticeable when watching a movie, but I am a bit picky.

AMAZING! Solid frame, nicely constructed screen, the 2-way rear projection image was crisp and clear. This served our purpose very well for Halloween. We bought an Epson PowerLite Home Cinema 2000 1080p 3LCD Projector with rear projection aspect capability in order to show haunted images and children's Halloween movies for the Trick-or-Treaters this Halloween, and it was a smash hit!We had placed the screen across the front of our garage with a couple of giant pumpkin inflatables standing guard on each side, then we had movies showing from the projector we set up inside the garage. It was awesome! We had kids sitting in our driveway watching "It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown!" while the adults hung out on the porch drinking free margaritas. What a blast!Set-up and breaking down were a breeze, and the sturdy carry tote that contains all of the pieces- frame, screen, and all- easily fits everything once you're ready to put it away.We're looking forward to the weather warming up so we can have more outdoor movie parties, now that we know how great this screen works.

Very satisfied.Screen quality: light gray screen, fabric is good, seems durable, colors and blacks looks great. Very satisfied.+ Great overall portable screen. It would be difficult to build or find an equal or better quality package at this price.+ It's $200. Great value.- Some may need help stretching the screen to the pole and lifting up, especially in light wind.- The plastic clamps are sewn into loops on the screen but may break at some point from repeated assembly and could be a difficult replacement part w/o having to buy a new screen. I could be worrying about nothing.- Folded crease across the middle is visible in bright scenes. These screens really should come rolled from the manufacturer.Highly recommended for its intended use.

I can't say enough good things about this screen. We bought one for a friend doing an outdoor home theater and then got another for ourselves. It sets up pretty quickly (I'd recommend having a helper) and is very sturdy. We had it on paving stones so were not able to affix the securing stakes to the ground but strategically placed gaffer tape on the legs provided a reasonably secure alternative. We also tied the frame to a fence behind the screen (using the included cord) in order to prevent it from moving too much in a breeze.Picture quality from a Panasonic LCD projector is excellent and I like that it has the ability to do rear projection in case we explore that option in the future (for now, we're using the screen in front projection mode). I love the fact that it packs neatly away into a compact storage bag when not in use. Highly recommended.

The screen is a nice size. Easy to but the frame together. As I got to the last connecter, which secures the bottom middle od the screen, there was no connecter pin. I looked inside if the part and it jammed inside. Very disappointed. I just played the movie on the back of the house, I didn't even want to attach the screen. I just wanted that one part but I was told I would have to ship the whole thing back. Never mind, I'll just duct tape it and never by from this company again. Amazon however, was very, very helpful! If it weren't for that one part, I would rate the product a 5 -customer service, that's a different story.

The screen is very easy to put together, even for one person. Not all the poles line up with the quick releases but it was enough to keep it from coming apart. My biggest complaint is the wrinkle in the middle where they fold it in half for shipment. Visible while you watch the movie. So far no luck getting rid of it. My other complaint is what I received was obviously a customer return. Where you insert the poles was scratched showing it had been put together before. I needed it for a group outing else I would have returned it for another. Even though used I would have given it 5 stars had it come without the wrinkle throughout the middle. They really should roll the screen. The screen is gray, no white, but don't think that matters as the movie looked great. From 30 feet the wrinkle was not that easy to see, but as you get closer much more visible.

This is a great screen for outdoors. The screen material is really nice and seems durable. There is a crease across the middle from being packed but its not noticable when you watch a movie. The frame was easy to put together and the carrying case is very nice. The screen stretches tight across the frame but I have noticed that the tension causes the lower bar to bend upwards. That is the trade off of having such a big frame but making it light enough to carry. It is a big screen and you have to consider the size for where you want to use it, especially if it's windy. We have loved it and I am considering getting the 92 inch to be a little more discrete when camping. Lol

We use this to show movies for our cottage customers. We've had it for about a month and shown probably 1/2 a dozen movies. We love it! It's easy to assemble/disassemble; the picture is very clear; the size is just right for us. No complaints. For anyone using it outside, we also purchased the Block Rocker (not from amazon, tho) which compliments the package very well.

This will be a great addition for our outdoor movies. Well packaged and arrived promptly

As they said easy to set up and great for indoor or outdoor movies I only wish I had bought a bigger one now!!
