Going to the gym. It's really not for me. I'll stay in bed with a cup of tea, thanks, but you, you go ahead, away you go.So for you lot who squeeze in a workout before work, full praise to you. Well done. But what of that hulking great big soggy towel you've now got stuck in your bag? Along with the trainers and water bottles and oversize granola bars? It takes up so much space.NOT ANYMORE.This gigantic microfibre towel rolls up so small, it's ridiculous. Yet it dries you off after your gym shower better than your average towel. It's also proven to be smarter than the average towel, though don't ask me how.Your washing machine will thank you too - no more huge wobbly fabrics making your appliance thunder on the spin cycle - this baby will save space, allowing you to wash more important things like... other towels. It comes with it's own little bag too, so what more could you want?

totally recommend on hiking trips where weight and the ability to dry fast are essential
Really happy with my purchase and got a really great deal when i bought it. I ended up using it on all my hiking trips. I still cannot believe i used to carry those old bulky towels.I really love that it packs small (even for an XL towel), is really light, is large enough to wrap it around your whole body (petite girl) and dry your hair after, dries really fast (which matters when you hike from hut to hut) in about 2-3 hours of dry weather and a bit longer if it's really humid. It comes with a travel pouch which has a mesh on one side (i think it lets the towel to breathe). You do get a weird feeling when you dry yourself, you pat your skin more and it doesn't feel as nice as cotton towels, but you get used to it after a couple of uses.Totally recommend on hiking trips where weight and the ability to dry fast are essential

Utterly brilliant!
I've waited a few weeks so I could give these a thorough workout before reviewing and I can only report that they are absolutely the bees' knees for a most unexpected reason. I bought them for travelling and they are superb for that, being very compact, very quick to dry, and they suck up water like an elephant. What I also found though was that they are brilliant for being very gentle with sensitive skin. Like a lot of people I suffer from eczema (the neurodermatitis sort - you know, you get an itch, absentmindedly scratch it and, before you know it, your skin is covered in raised red welts that can blister and itch even more). My skin's so sensitive these days that I can't even exfoliate without breaking out and rubbing with a regular towel is a no-no. You can't really rub with these microfibre towels - it just doesn't seem to work. You have to dab and pat yourself dry which is a) extremely effective because of the elephant action and b) creates no friction at all between towel and skin. It has helped so much in keeping the eczema under control and I now use them in place of regular towels all the time. What a find! I can't recommend them enough.

their small compact easy to pack
Been camping this summer and see the odd person with microfiber towels and just thought how do they dry you ?we are a family of Six and when camping space is limited and we have to take a huge bag just for our towels for the week / weekend etc then you use them they have to dry weather not always helping. We tried these and WOW so impressed they dry you well, they dry quick, their small compact easy to pack.We only brought one for me and the wife to try before doing a total change over for all 6 of us mainly to keep cost down although not majorly expensive for a family of 6 adds up, but we are so impressed will be looking out for some for the kids for next camping season.High points1) Strangely like drying yourself with a chamois leather2) strolling to the shower block with a tiny wash bag holding everything you need and laughing at the people with big swim bags and back packs

Perfect for Cycle Commuters
As a committed cycle commuter (as in, I should be committed given the weather I ride in some days), I was in need of the means to dry off following a refreshing shower at work. Normal towels have the distinct down side that they stay damp for quite some time, meaning everything in my locker picks up the lovely smell of soggy towels. Enter the microfibre - a towel that should dry quickly enough to escape the damp smell and still let me dry off satisfactorily.First off, the towel is of a decent size, if not quite full on bath towel dimensions. Also, it packs down to a very small size, even fitting back in the provided pouch (if you are careful when folding), so is easy to port back and forth or cram into a bag.Does it work as a towel though? Largely, yes. It's not absorbent in the same way as my bath towels, meaning once I get around to drying my hair, it's maybe a little too saturated to quite do the job in the same way. But that's once it's taken care of the six foot plus of me to good effect. And it does dry very quickly, making it perfect for those cycle commuting.

brilliant!!
bought for the gym based on the reviews. Glad I did. They look flimsy as towels ( not the quality), just because they are microfiber, but I was very impressed!! Bought the smaller one as well as a result to use as a hair towel!

Product is fantastic and delivery immediate, thank you
This is not the old style that looks like a terry towel but rather the new smoother style that is almost chamois leatherish in feel. Am hirsuit and this feels a lot better than the older style. Also all the new UL hiking towels are like this i think but this one i got is massive but still light enough to pack. Dries well and is itself dry from completely wet and rung in around an hour at room temperature.Big enough for a picnic or lounging on a beach etc and will double as an extra blanket for bivvying

fab towel!most other travel towels aren't large enough. This one is, and far smaller and lighter for packing too!additinal benefits: - even when it's wet, cause the whole family used it, it'll still get the water off you(!) - it dries in 1/4 of the time (10 minutes in wind & sun)only minor downside is the feel of the fabric; but that is to be expected of any man-made fibre, and this isn't made for cuddling/wrapping up on a cold winter night... ;-)
