Rat died in the wall - could not smell after running filter!
I bought this because I have a 10 yr old Oreck Air instinct that I cant find replacement filters for. I thought maybe it was a bit overkill until the other week a rat died in the wall. Having gone through that wretched smell before I prepared myself for a month of gaging. I was shocked when only after running this filter on Turbo for an hour I couldn’t smell a thing. We left it on until we could get help locating the vermin. Turned out the thing was in a wall and we left it to let nature take its course. Can’t imagine living with that condition without the air filter!! Amazing product.

Buy a different brand with a permanent filter , too hard to find replacement filter!!
Noise level good however can't order a replacement filter for it anywhere !!

unable to buy filters
I order filters months ago, we have not gotten them and the air cleaner needs to be changed about every 4-6 weeks, unlike my other Orecks which have washable parts. I do not recommend this air purifier.
