Mega Bloks Ultimate Action Dragon Destroyer

My son(8) loves to build with blocks, and didn't have any trouble putting the set together. He was carrying it through the house and the only time any parts came off was when his little brother bumped him. The dragons, lights, sounds, and building options, meant he will get a lot more use out of it than a normal building set. For those who think Legos are the only way to go, my son has a lot of Star Wars lego sets which he likes, but I have noticed that some don't stay together very well. For Christmas he received a Star Wars ship that had him shedding tears of frustration more than once. He didn't have any trouble building the set, but he can't move it an inch without it falling apart. The dragon set is "really great" and "lots of fun" he says. The only negative we had was a flaw in one of the little figures. He didn't think it mattered, so we didn't think it was enough to return or gripe about the set. Our local Walmart was selling this for $50, we got it for $20 here. Great deal!

My son desperately wanted this for Christmas. I hesitated, since we already have a truckload of Legos, and I wasn't sure I wanted to branch into a whole new genre of building products. I eventually caved, and I'm glad I did. The dragons are really neat, and different from anything that I've seen Lego offer. The toys will combine with Legos, but I try to keep them separate anyway, since I'm a bit of a purist. The ship is really big, at least 14 or 15" long, and I feel like it was a lot of toy for the money. I only wish that Mega Blox would release some Dragon Universe DVDs, like Lego did for their Bionicle line. I feel the need to know more about these dragons, and their mysterious universe.

I have been very pleased with all of the Dragon Universe Megabloks toys. More importantly so has my 7 year old son. I purchased this ship for his birthday in December and he still plays with it 5 months later. It is also one of the first things visiting friends want to play with. Dragons, space, and building bloks! Can't beat that. The ship went together fairly quickly- he put it together himself. It has stayed mostly put together ever since. He does modify it a bit or borrow it's weaponry to put on other ships he creates from Legos. I wish there was more of a story to go with the toy set but my son does make up his own. I would reccomend this to any of me friends with children 6-9

I purchased this product for my son because I could not find this series/set as they no longer sell it in Singapore. Price was really great because it was nearly 50% off the original price. As with mega block products, the quality is good. In terms of educational value, good for hand eye co-ordination because my son had to follow the instructions to build and put all the pieces together. Also helps him with his creativity and imagination as he uses this set as part of his make belief world that he has put together with his other toys.

MY 12 YEAR OLD LOVES LEGO/MEGA BLOKS. THIS WAS A GREAT PRICE. UNBEATABLE VALUE FROM AMAZON AROUND CHRISTMAS TIME. HE ENJOYED BUILDING IT. ONLY NEGATIVE, IS IT COMES APART EASILY AND IS FRUSTRATING TO PUT BACK TOGETHER AGAIN.OVERALL THE TOY IS IDEAL FOR THE BUILDING ENTHUSIAST.

I really don't know what the heck this toy is about. My eight year old wanted it we bought it for him, he loves it. He has had it for awhile now and it is a solid toy. No problems with it.

Christmas gift for our son who normally is a big lego fan but he loved putting this together and it looked quite impressive when done. Nice large piece, good quality, great price! Quality was better than expected as some of these sets don't stay together well. This one exceeded my expectations.

I got these mega bloks the year after the other mega bloks because again my grandson was there to take care of me while I naped every afternoon after the other knee replacement.

Je confirme qu'il y a pas mal de petites pièces mais la perte de certaines ne rendront pas le jeu inutilisable. Il faut être patient, la notice de montage est très bien faite, pas évidente à certains endroits mais en cas d'erreurs, facile de les réparer, à 6 ans la 3D n'est pas forcément évidente.Le pistolet émet des sons de tir ou de movement du vaisseau bref pour le prix à 22€, je vous conseille d'acheter les yeux fermés, ce n'est vraiment pas cher.

Attention, ce jouet a été commandé au Royaume-Uni.Je n'en avais pas été informée par Amazon.Les frais de port rajoutés au prix du jouet, ont été prohibitifs.....Ce jouet avait été exprèssement demandé au Père-Noël par mon petit-fils.Et comme il est très maniaque, il va le garder longtemps.A ne pas conseiller à un enfant de moins de 7 ans, ou brouillon ou peu organisé.Beaucoup de petites pièces qui si elles sont égarées, rendent le jouet inutilisable!.A offrir à un enfant qui peut être conseillé et aidé par un adulte (averti et patient) pour le montage.Ce jeu est un puzzle ou si comme moi, la personne n'est pas trop versée dans les jeux actuels, un véritable casse-tête...

Mon fils a passé de bon moments a monter se jeu de construction et aussi a jouer . Jeu éducatif et pas très onéreux.

Beau jouet très apprécié par les enfants. À noter tout de même que tant les explications que les briques sont moins accessibles que des lego.
