So I read all the reviews before purchasing. Well there were no missing parts there were no extra holes to drill instruction were a little confusing but if you follow them step by step and use common sense it wasn't bad. Yeah they could be better but for 140 bucks it was awesome. I see how the hoop could be bent. But I don't let my lil ones hang on it. It's not made for that anyhow. And make sure you put water in the base so it does fall forward. Also we are going to empty the water before winter and store it in a garage or under a tarp etc. Also I put this together by myself 5'4 female. We have all thrown the ball in multiple times and it has messed up the hoop. We are using the ball that came wirh it and an NBA youth ball. I think the adult ball is a lil much for this hoop after all it is a YOUTH hoop. Hope this helps anyone looking for their lil ones

It's a nice basketball hoop. Exactly what I was wanting for my 5 year old. I had it now for about 3 weeks and me and my son love it. I put it together in about 1 hour by myself it was pretty easy. It's also very easy to adjust the height. I also like how it has a clear backboard looks good. I read a couple of negative reviews before I purchased it that I was concerned about. 1st one was that it wasn't sturdy enough. Well a week after I bought it it withstood a storm with high winds and didn't tip over. 2nd was that the backboard was too thin and it could shatter. I agree to a certain extent it is a little thin but it shouldn't be a problem for younger kids just learning to play. I believe you would have to shoot it pretty hard for the backboard to break. Overall I think its a good hoop for little ones that are leaening to play the game.

Purchased for above ground pool side use this mini hoop system is perfect. It is height adjustable and comes with a mini basketball. I did order the SKLZ Pro Mini Swish Foam Ball for use in the pool and saved the air basketball for use outside the pool. This hoop system is fairly easy to assemble for the average do it yourselfer and took about an hour to assemble. The backboard is very nice and being shatterproof is a great feature. Use caution with the assembled unit as it tips over very easy until the base is filled with either sand or water. I chose to fill it with water so it was easier to empty if needed. The base also has wheels so moving it is fairly easy but the wheels could have used to be a bit bigger as I found they don't turn well when moving across a lawn. I have since moved the unit from the pool side to the patio where it is enjoyed as a traditional basketball game. It is a bit shorter than the normal size basketball systems but works well even for a 14 year old.

This is a good first hoop. Size is great for a driveway and it is easy to move around as needed. Two things that could be better are the hoop itself and the ability to weigh it down more. This has fallen over a few times due to wind and the hoop is no longer entirely round. The base isn't stable enough despite us filling it with water and putting sand bags on top. Not sure if that is just poor design or if there is something more we should be doing to secure it. Just be sure to lay it down or put it in the garage if you get gusty winds.

My 12 yo son LOVES this thing. It is in his rec room. Assembly is def easier with two people! One cool thing is that it’s indoor /outdoor and the height is adjustable -you can even wheel it out to be poolside. We just put water in the base versus sand and it’s very sturdy.

I rarely leave reviews, but this one deserves a warning for anyone considering it. This basketball hoop is incredibly low quality and flimsy. The backboard feels like it’s made from cheap plastic that wobbles with even a light shot. The rim is poorly secured and started tilting after just a few days of casual play by my kids — not dunking, not roughhousing, just basic shooting. The pole and base are equally weak and do nothing to stabilize the structure. It looks and feels like a toy you’d expect from a dollar store, not something sold at this price point. Assembly instructions were vague, and even once set up, the entire hoop leans and rattles with minimal contact. I expected at least basic sturdiness for driveway shooting — this isn’t it. Save yourself the headache and buy a hoop that’s actually designed for outdoor use with kids. This one is a total letdown. Avoid at all costs.

I purchased this because my son is a very tall 2.5 year old toddler. We have a little tikes basketball hoop but he has outgrown it. We went over a relative's house and they had a regular hoop and it was lowered to around 7 feet, my son couldn't even get the ball close. I came across this product from an Amazon.com special deal for $97 and it received great reviews. After reading the reviews I assumed that it would take 1.5 - 2 hours. It wasn't hard but it took me a little longer because I think I may have overtightened a few bolts and the heads popped off. I had to make a special trip to the hardware store to match the bolt and had to get the damaged bolt off with a vise grip (what a pain). This happened 3 separate times while installing, eventually I found bolts from the hardware store that worked. The appearance of the hoop is awesome looks just like a real full size hoop. After filling with 120 pounds of sand (that was fun after the first 60 pounds goes in) the hoop was very sturdy. I choose to fill with sand because after reading reviews of those who filled with water eventually the base leaked and they had to do sand. I have only had it for a week and my son plays with it every day. If it lasts (which I have concerns with rust after 2 days of heavy rains) it will grow with my 2.5 year old for several years. Although the one thing that annoys me about this hoop is that the RIM is slanted slightly. I have tried tightening everything and it is still slightly slanted. I called SKLZ and they are more than helpful in getting pieces replaced but easier said than done. This is a pain to take apart and put back together and not to mentioned I have a 120 pound base with sand in it which I am not sending back. BOTTOM LINE: IT WORKS FOR MY SON AND HE ABSOLUTELY LOVES IT BUT I DO QUESTION THE QUALITY BUT WHAT CAN I EXPECT FOR $97.

Everything was in the box that was suppose to be. My husband said it was easy to put together. I did see him going to his took box a couple times but don't know which tool he needed I will ask and update the review. This basketball goal is perfect for my 6yr old grandson. It was his birthday present and he was incredibly excited to get it. I haven't filled it up with water yet so I don't know if it leaks like some of the others had complained about. Again will update the review once I do that. So far I am very happy with it and would recommend. I will add that I bought the used one in very his condition and it was actually new just had a little hole about 3 inches like maybe it was punctured by something. This did not effect the basketball goal at all. It was shipped in a slightly larger box with the goal in the original box. So it was packaged very well.

Excelente calidad, le encanta a mi hijo de 4 años, y a mi igualmente. Buena oportunidad para armarlo con tus hijos. El manual es sencillo peo no viene en español, nada que Google lens no pueda traducir para los que no dominamos el idioma. Lo recomiendo mucho.

Hey, don't make the same mistake I did and accidentally mistake the backside of the packaging for the assembly hardware(nuts & bolts) as a plain unmarked piece of cardboard used to insulate between the assembly pieces 😂 I dumped and unpacking everything on the floor, leaving the hardware's unmarked back side facing up. This led me to mistakenly believe the hardware was missing. And because I'm not both a horrible detective and easily triggered, I did what any other simple minded fella would do in situations like these, I immediately over reacted and requested a refund, as well as, initially leaving a 1-star review out of the frustration of my incredible personal inconvenience. It wasn't until I began to clean up my mess when I discovered the random piece of unmarked cardboard on the floor was actually just the backside of the packaging for the nuts & bolts. However, despite its unfortunate packaging design, and my own stupidity, this product lives up to its advertising and is genuinely awesome! Easy to assemble (once you find the nuts) Perfect adjustable size. Excellent quality I'm extremely happy & satisfied I made this purchase! Highly recommend 5/5

Me lo imagine más alto como para adulto, pero para niño esta muy bien. Cuesta un poco de trabajo ensamblar pues algunos tornillos no están bien diseñados para que la llave Allen entre y pueda girar. Use unas pinzas para sujetar el tornillo mientras le daba vuelta con otras a las tuercas. El manual de instrucciones con los dibujos esta excelente, es fácil seguirlo. La resistencia y durabilidad la veré con el uso y el paso del tiempo, aunque los materiales se ven resistentes con la precaución de evitar colgarse del aro.

Value for Money is the first thing I can say! Let me tell what you’re not getting first- You’re not getting a heavy-duty basketball net. You are getting something that’s easy to assemble, easy to move around, and something the kids will enjoy. Some of the parts seem a little suspect in terms of durability, but keeping the price in mind, it’s liveable. Comes with just the right amount of screws and bolts so don’t lose any!! Decent product for the price !
