I don't like leaving reviews as soon as I get something because whenever I do, it ends up being bad and then I regret leaving that nice review when I've learned it wasn't all that great after a while.So when I receive my new bed frame, I thought I would give it time and see what would happen throughout the months.One: its extremely easy to set up and comes with its own tools. It only take possible 30 to 45 mintues including dogs who came to harass us as we put up our new bedframe, but overall, we get done without anyone help.Two: we get a king size bed because a queen wasn't working for a tosser (my hubby) nor did it help as we adopted puppy, who unlike our other dog loves to sleep with us on the bed. The bedframe strong enough to hold two grown adults and two grown (one large breed dog and medium size dog) all together.To continue on, it does work well with a memory foam bed and keeps enough support with close tight wood frames so the bed doesn't slip through or create any issues. (In case your wondering).There's also tape on the wood to keep the bed in "place," so if that brings you peace of mind I would suggest this bedframe, however be aware that the tape could possible ruin your bed as other comment suggested. I didn't use mine because it didn't feel like I needed to. My bed fits perfectly and stays in place, so it wasn't necessary to tape it down.Three: as people asked about, you know, the lovely times. I don't think I've ever heard the bed make any noises from us moving around and fooling around. The structure of the bed is nicely designed that only issue I think that could happen is if you set up your bed next to the wall. In our case, our bed is next to the wall and nothing happens.The bedframe is quite, no squeaking from any parts and stays in place.Overall, it's a great buy in my opinion.

It took less time to assemble this than it did to remove it from the packaging. Basically, lay out the components on the floor and insert & tighten 13 bolts and 1 washer - that's it.It arrived in one, large box - about 85 inches long, weighing probably 50 lbs.Regarding the product:- The frame is very sturdy and makes no noise. I read that sometimes there can be some velcro noise (velcro is how the slat spacing is preserved) if the mattress shifts around, but I haven't experienced that.-Lookswise, it matches the photos in the description, and it fits a queen-sized Nectar mattress perfectly.- Pricewise, it's an outstanding value - I haven't experienced another bed frame for just over 100 bucks that is this practical and sturdy.Things to consider if buying this:- Use some BLUE Loctite on the bolts. Even with a metal frame, they can back out over time. Blue Loctite will provide just enough of a bond to prevent that, while still allowing easy disassembly down the road.- This is a metal frame and will scratch a hardwood floor if moved around. I have it on a rug, so there is no problem, and it's easy to move on the rug, if needed, but it doesn't slide around on its own.- There is no headboard on this one, but there is another model on Amazon that is this frame with the headboard, and it's not much more money.Cons:- I suppose the velcro could have better adhesive on the back side, where it sticks to the frame - I found it easy to peel up, but that's about it.

It was kind of hard to find a bed frame that’s stylish and low to the ground for my senior short dog to climb on. This frame was great. Simple, cute, and easy to assemble. Came with all the necessary tools.

I looked for a platform bed off and on for about 11 months. I was beginning to think my husband was going to have to build one. Then I found this one - the price was a bonus. It arrived two days ahead of schedule. It was Packaged well. Not that many parts. Quick and easy assembly. No manufacturing damage. Supported our king Tempur-Pedic mattress without any issues. No squeaking. Husband is an engineer and said if the screws are tightened properly the bed will not squeak. The ratchet tool included with the bed is nice, especially if you don't have tools. The slats use hook and loop to stay in place. Hook strip on the bed frame, loop strip on the slats. They also have two strips of sticky tape to hold your mattress in place. After sleeping on the bed we're very happy with this purchase. It is a well designed sturdy bed. The design award was justified.UPDATE - We are using the ample space under the bed for storage. Not wanting people to see the storage containers I started looking for an option to screen the space. I DID NOT want a bed skirt. I purchased a 16" table runner and folded it over 2" and pressed the runner. Then I used 3/4" rare earth magnets to attach the runner to the steel bed frame placing the magnets on the folded over portion of the runner. It was 9 feet long so it wrapped around the head of the bed. Best part I didn't have to wrestle the skirt under the mattress. It looks neat and clean and it was an easy solution. I ended up buying some black metal buttons to glue to the rare earth magnets for a finished look. They weren’t magnetic so I cut off the button backs for a flat surface. Any button you like will do.

Super easy to put together on my own, did not need help. Good quality metal and hardware, everything lined up perfectly. The wood accent works very well with my headboard I built. Love it! Exactly what I needed without spending a fortune! I even received beautiful thank you cards from the company.

Amazing frame for storage under bed in small space. Easy to ensemble. Totaly worth the price.

Pros: The bed frame is easy to assemble.Cons: The slats are not sturdy enough and broke within an year of buying the bed frame. Zinus claims the warranty is for 5 years but on contacting the customer care they mentioned that they dont have the slats in stock and they dont anticipate them to be in stock in near future. This is hard to believe considering that Zinus is into business of selling bed frames and it is expected that they will have this basic part in stock.
