Will it work over a base coat of another manufacturer's Metal Speck paint?

I used it on other paint, just be sure the undercoats are lacquer based

Hi i have a an older mercedes and was looking for a bright metallic gold to paint my grille. Would yellow anodized pass as gold?

I have not tried this particular color but can say that that this paint is most not likely to be sutiable for automotive finishes because they are not inherently UV stable and will fade and peel over time. With carefull application and regular mainteance it will make an older vehicle look ok for a while.
