Can i cut the end off and Wire this up to a battery?

Can you trim the sleeve down to make it a even 2 inch, or Is it solid where the cord come out?

Bottom was solid on mine so not sure how deep the electronics are, if the electronics do not extend to full liength it could be trimmed and some type of cover reinstalled to keep the electronics clean and safe

Is this safe to install on the inside of a refigerator?

A working refrigerator No. dry none working should be ok unless subjects to a wide range of temps that would cause dampness

Great price and easy installation

All you need is a 2" hole & an outlet below your counter. This was quick & easy to install. I had an outlet added inside a base cabinet. My original intention was to drop my power cord & charging cord down the hole & cover the hole with a desktop grommet. When this popped up as I searched "desktop grommet" I fell in love with this cleaner looking option. Now I dont have to go under the counter to plug stuff in.
