Bulova seldom disappoints. Attractive finish and nice Westminster chime.

This is a wonderful mantel clock! It is elegant with a classic look and ambiance that fits beautifully into my living room and atop my bookcase. The chimes sound wonderful as well! The fact that the chimes have three settings, (chimes-chimes night mode-off), is a great feature. There is a volume switch also. It was a cinch to set up and it keeps time perfectly! It is highly recommended!

Nice looking clock that had an antique feel. Can turn chime on or off. If chime is on, it's does not chime between 11p.m and 6 a.m which is nice

I purchased this clock for our mantle. After having many different clocks I decided to try something very classic and chose the tambour style. My only issue is I wish the dial and numbers were bigger, in fact I wish the whole clock was 25% larger. I am not one of those people who always reads the measurements carefully - I should pay more attention to that, but it is a bit hard to read when we are sitting on the sofa. It is very quiet. We didn’t want a chimer, and I have had table clocks where you can hear the second hand but this second hand is very silent!

very confusing and frustrating to try to open the back compartment to insert two of the batteries and adjust the clock. I do not want to deal with this every time new batteries need to be replaced

Bought this clock to replace a mechanical Sligh clock that we had owned for 35 years but it needed repairs and couldn't find anyone to repair it. We reluctantly decided to buy the Bulova. Have been using it for almost 2 weeks and it has been keeping time perfectly. The chime sounds good. Not as deep as the Sligh but acceptable. All in all, very happy with this purchase.

Love it. I bought the clock with the chime but no pendulum. The Westminster sound is so beautiful. It turns off between 11pm and 6am as it says and that time frame is adjustable if someone sleeps during the day. Follow the instructions, they are important in this case especially. The instructions could be improved. For ex going past 12 if it does not ring. And adjusting clockwise only. It means that the clock is ringing night hours instead of day time. Adjusting for one hour forward was easy.

It's elegant and beautiful. Not overly fancy yet it's just the right type of class to enhance a room or office! You need two batteries though, one for the clock and the other for the chime. The chime battery runs out faster FYI if you use it. Highly recommend and great quality!

My wife bought this for my grandson for Christmas last year and he absolutely loves it! He is autistic, so he likes gifts that other kids wouldn't think of wanting. It works real well and actually looks quite good and expensive. BUT, the chime is on the louder side, so it takes getting use to, because it does chime every hour of the day. Having said that, it does have a feature where you can change the chime, and dampen it somewhat...or turn it off altogether I believe. But if you are going to turn it off, there is probably no need to buy this particular clock as the chime is it's main feature! Our grandson won't let us turn the chime off...lol...we had to get use to it at it's loudest! :)

I ordered this clock as it is very similar in style (only smaller) of a clock that used to grace the mantel of my grandfather's house, and that I really liked. That clock chimed for everything: one chime on the half-hour, and a Westminster chime, followed by the number of chimes for any given hour. I like that this clock only chimes on the hour, with a Westminster chime only, no chimes to denote the number of the hour. Furthermore, it is not a loud chime. I can't hear it from my upstairs bedroom with the door open at night. One reviewer noted that the chime for this clock was a bit "tinny". Well, a bit maybe, but not to the extent that it ruins the clock for me in any way. I think that a louder, fuller sounding chime wouldn't really suit what is essentially a smaller version of a mantel clock. I believe I got more than my money's worth with this clock - I really like it and it suits my living room very well. I recommend this clock for anyone who is hopeful of finding a smaller version of a popular mantel clock style, and who doesn't want to listen to a lot of chiming throughout the day and night.

Quede muy bien con el regalo, de muy buena calidad y diseño además que marca las horas con música, me hubiera encantado que también marcará las medias horas. Muy recomendable.
