You want an accurate easy to use tire gauge? This is it.
First of all, the customer service from JACO Superior is beyond phenomenal. After I bought the gauge, their co-founder personally contacted me by e-mail to ask what I thought of it. I know it wasn't a robot message because when I responded, he personally wrote back to address my comments. When does that ever happen? As to the gauge, I bought it because I was tired of inaccurate tire pressure gauges. I bought a digital gauge thinking it was high tech, but the thing wouldn't give the same pressure reading twice in a row, so I took it back and decided to stay with the tried-and-true technology of an analog gauge. Of course not all analog gauges are accurate either (e.g. the one I got from Harbor Freight) but I liked the ad copy about the quality and accuracy of the JACO gauge, so I took a chance. When it arrived I had just gotten back from having the tires rotated on my SUV and the tire shop had checked the air pressure on all of the tires and recorded it on the work order. They use Snap-On gauges that cost ten times more than the JACO gauge. I rechecked the tires using the JACO gauge and got an identical reading to the tire shop, dead on. Score! Finally a tire gauge I can trust! Other features I like are the angled swivel head and the bleeder valve. The swivel head allows me to see the face of the gauge no matter where the tire valve happens to be, and the angle design allows the gauge to be used on bike tires where a straight gauge won't work because the spokes are in the way. When pressurizing a tire I like to over pressurize it a bit then bleed down to the desired pressure. That way I only have to connect the air compressor to it once. The JACO gauge is ideal for this. I can remove air from the tire by depressing the bleeder valve without removing the gauge from the tire. When the bleeder button is released, the gauge instantly resumes the air pressure reading (unlike the digital gauge I bought that had to be removed from the tire and reset for each new reading). I may be old school, but I like being able to read an analog gauge. You know where you stand with an analog. The only comment I had in responding to the co-founder's e-mail was that my 65-year-old bifocalled eyes found the gauge dial to be a bit small. It is 1-1/2" diameter. I suggested that a 2" dial would be easier to read ,yet still compact enough for glove box or tool box storage. Guess what? He wrote back to say that they are working on just such a gauge. It will have a maximum scale reading of 60 psi, perfect for car tires (but not for high pressure bike tires). That one will be easy to read, even for me. So I am glad to have the small gauge because I do have a bike to use it on, but I am looking forward to the larger gauge when it comes out. I plan on getting one of those, too. They said it will show up on Amazon when it is ready, so stay tuned!

Wonder if this is better choice than previous digital gauge?
Previously had a 10 year old digital pressure gauge that I got as a gift, replaced the batteries but the gauge finally seems to have given up since there's no display (but I keep it in my car and live in the sunbelt, so maybe that's not a good idea..still 10 years wasn't bad. This gauge is analog and doesn't require batteries, just need to take pressure measurement from valve stem then release pressure from gauge after noting the reading for each tire. This analog gauge is physically quite a lot bigger than the digital gauge, but looks well-made and has some sort of covering over the circumference of the gauge that looks like it is intended to protect it some if you drop it. Have no reference for comparing accuracy, I guess it is OK, but seems to read a bit lower than the prior digital gauge did...but don't know whether that's because of accuracy or just that my tire pressure bled down a bit in the interval between when my digital gauge died and when I received the analog replacement in the mail (about a week). Probably OK enough for my purposes, mostly want to make sure all 4 tires are about the same reading. I use regular air, not nitrogen in the tires so it might have bled some. Also bought some replacement valve stem covers, thought I had some extra but one somehow was missing, guess one place checked pressure but forgot to put the stem cover back on one tire....oh, yeah, forgot that every so often I should open up the well and check the space-saver spare pressure so it is OK if we need it...my Mom's car has it at 60 PSI which this gauge will handle, my compact VW actually still has a full sized spare (2000 model year) but it is stored upside down so I have to empty the hub mounted jack/wheel nut key toolkit and unstrap the spare so I can access the side that has the valve. Even had to buy a new spare tire when valve died on old unused spare, since it was too old so tire shop wouldn't replace the valve unless I bought new spare, but I guess rubber degrades especially in sunbelt even if you don't use the tire at all...guess I should be happy my car has a spare at all, lots of new ones don't anymore, terrible idea just to save space and some weight. Didn't take a picture, it is pretty much how it looks on the Amazon offering, didn't see value add in a picture (unless maybe put it alongside ruler so you could see how big it is if that matters to your storage for it in between use, but didn't have one handy).

INEXPENSIVE TIRE GAUGE IS EASY TO READ
Relatively inexpensive tire pressure gauge is easy to use and read. I have used one at home for years and just bought a second for the camper. Holds the setting until you press the button releasing pressure in the gauge making it easy to read. 100 psi limit makes it appropriate for almost all tires.

Excellent tire pressure gauge 100 psi
Excellent tire pressure gauge. My truck tires in the back are 85 psi. This one works great.

Very accurate.
Terrific product. Compared it to another more expensive gauge and the JACO was more accurate. Delivered in two days. Would recommend purchasing the carrying case for it to protect the gauge face from scratching.

Junk!
Does not hold the pressure indication. Worked for 2 weeks than failed.

Gauge easy to Use
The tire gauge worked fine in lowering my tire pressure for the summer after raising it for the winter. Tire pressires have to be raised due to them dropping in the cold weather.

Excellent product
I am very happy with the product very sturdy and accurate I don't give the five stars because it is a little pricey comparatively with other similar products, however highly recommended and life-time guaranteed. I love the fact that it can be used also to deflate until the pressure reaches the desired value and the nice elastic cover that protect it. Cons and I said the price and it is a little bit big for my taste compared with others, but I suppose that being an analog device (which I prefer to measure over digital at least in this case) it requires the space, but it is not as easy to read as the digital counterparts. (may you put a little magnifier glass in the needle to read better?) Highly recommended if you don't mind to give more money.

Defective, poor quality
Poor quality, does not hold pressure reading as it is advertised to do. Pressure reading bleeds off as soon as it is removed from the valve stem. Returning.
