Got this today. I didn't bother reading the box and I don't care if it has poor English. I glanced at the instructions, which mainly emphasize that you need to remove the plastic safety clip that prevents the button from being depressed before using. Attached the wand to the handle, inserted the batteries, and had the wife try it out on me, since we got it for her for protecting our little dogs when on walks (a neighbor was recently attacked by big stray dogs when walking her little dogs). It works! That was quite a jolt that made me jump about 5 feet, but the pain was very momentary and left no mark. So we know it works, and we know it is strong enough to do what we want. It seems quite overpriced for what it is, though. Probably could be quite profitable at a third the price.

1st - The box says "rechargeable Livestock Prods" but someone took a pen an scribbled out "rechargeable".2nd - The box says "Let your stocking more efficient" Good proof reading by your marketing people.3rd - "Grape comfort" WTF does that mean?4th - ITS DEAD RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX. Connected the prod to the handle. It can only go 1 way so that's a no brainer. Brand new "C" batteries (yes, I put them in correctly) , pulled the safety tab off the activator button and NOTHING. Pulled the batteries, double checked connectors and direction of batteries again, closed it up and still NOTHING.RETURNING THIS PIECE OF CHINESE @#$%% - Should have just gone to Tractor Supply!

10 hrs non use battery’s will die. I would not buy again.
