Poreless Putty Primer

OK not to sound too cliché but I don't write reviews like ever. OK now that's out of the way let's run it down. This stuff is a miracle. I heard about it, saw it, read reviews and hesitated I'll admit. I was like putty....blech...I have mixed skin which if you know you know. It's where your skin is dry in patches but then has the Exon oil run off flowing free in others. So yeah you need that moisturizer, but guess what buddy you're welcoming the pimple band to play all day in return. Oh your skin is oily, well that made for oily skin product is gonna get cakey in an hour and you're gonna have dry cracked scales like a serpent succubus. It's a hard thing to balance out and the thought of something thick laying on my face before I put on makeup was a full stop "oh hell no" moment. However one of my friends swears by it and she always looks like she woke up with a damn snap chat filter stapled to her face so I figured what the hey its a cheap price and I've definitely spent way more trying to figure out how to work this face why not give it a whirl. WELL LET ME TELL YOU GOOD PEEPS. This stuff is amaze balls. It comes in a tub and looks thick or pasty but looks are deceiving in this tiny tub of angel kisses. When you touch it turns into a smooth and light texture almost like a gel lotion but it's not. It goes on so smooth and you don't need alot but has a consistency that allows you to layer/build as needed. I actually saw my pores disappear and my texture was velvety without feeling oily and/or sticky which I've found some primers made for mixed skin do. The color in the tub is a slight rose color but on your skin doesn't leave a tinted pigment BUT DID even out some of my redness or discoloration caused by past acne ( the pimple band likes to leave its marks my friends). My foundation went on smoothly and I found I need to dab less to blend with the trusty blending egg then without this tub of magic. My makeup stayed on longer than all day in perfect condition. No lie. I work in a medical setting AND then bartend at night and apart from my dead inside eyes when I looked in the mirror my makeup was damn flawless. Trust me when I say to you just get the dang thing. For this price and the amount you get it's well worth it.

I absolutely love the poreless putty primer. I CAN NOT do my makeup without it. If you’re oily I’m not sure you would enjoy it however I am dry and have pores near the sides of my nose and it works wonders for me. This gives me a flawless canvas to apply makeup and when I do it works well. Never any pilling, my makeup stays put and looks good! I love this product. Does it erase your pores, no! Does it make them less noticeable, yes!!!! Give it a shot. I was never a primer girl but this stuff is gooooood! I will continue to purchase!

I had been hearing rave reviews online for E.L.F.'s new Poreless Putty Primer and I just had to try it. I'm a woman in her 50s who has good skin but definitely has a few wrinkles. I also have dry skin and tend to perspire badly when I'm wearing makeup, especially in the summertime heat. It's difficult to find a primer that will truly fill in those pores and fine lines without looking caked on and I cannot afford the high-end primers that cost upward of $25 but for $8 it was worth trying. E.L.F.'s Poreless Putty comes in illuminating and matte and for a woman in her 50s, we don't use matte unless we want makeup to cake into those fine lines and magnify them. I crossed my fingers and ordered the illuminating type. It arrived it within 5 days, was packaged well so the putty disc was not damaged. It has a pleasant but faint smell which I appreciate because I don't like every makeup and hair product to be so scented that they clash and overpower my perfume. It also had a very velvety feel to it. It was soft and easy to apply. I first tried the primer on the back of my hand and saw that it looked moisturized and had a nice satin finish but I didn't see that it was hiding the lines on the back of my hand at all. I discarded it as another product for younger skin. I threw it in my makeup case for the next time I did a full face makeup application. When that time came I had few expectations that it was going to be the miracle product I'd heard about...but it was! I didn't notice a big difference after just applying the primer and I applied a liberal coating, however, when I put my foundation over it I was surprised to see that my face had a beautiful, subtle glow to it which camouflaged the pores and fine lines after all! My makeup looked like I applied it with an airbrush and my foundation went on smoother and I used less of it. Still, the big test was if I would sweat it off within an hour like I usually did. I didn't. I wore it for six hours before removing it and although it was 90 degrees outside, my makeup stayed firmly in place. I was very impressed. My daughter even asked me what I had done different with my makeup and that it looked really good. For $8 this is a product you shouldn't go without, especially if you are on the flipside of 40. It revitalizes the look of your skin giving it a young, dewy finish that didn't look fake. It looked healthy. That's hard to beat at my age! Great product.

I’ve been using the e.l.f. Poreless Face Primer and it does a nice job creating a smooth base before applying makeup. The texture feels silky and lightweight, and only a small amount is needed to cover the face. After applying it, my skin feels smoother and my foundation goes on more evenly. This primer is just okay. It goes on, but I found that it doesn't blend very well and can feel a bit uneven during application. It wasn't terrible, but it didn't give me the smooth finish I was hoping for. It may work for others, but I probably wouldn't repurchase it.

I had never tried E.L.F. , I love this. I plan to do a video as I get more products. You will not be disappointed!

Honestly, as a teenage girl with pore, breakouts, and the want to look like I have perfect skin, this product is a great primer. It smoothes everything out and makes my skin look so much better. My only downside is that it smells really bad and leaves my skin feeling greasy sometimes.

Diesen Primer kann ich nur empfehlen: er ist gut zu dosieren und lässt sich prima verteilen.Selbst eine dünne Schicht verleiht schon einen glatten gleichmässigen Teint, und man sieht nicht "zugekleistert" aus. Ich werde jetzt nur noch dieses Produkt kaufen ...

Texture morbidissima anche se si presenta tipo burro. Si assorbe velocemente e lascia la pelle levigata ma non unta. È fantastico per me perché ho la pelle grassa.
