Works very well and far more compact than using the traditional strap on type of boss.

Works if used with sealant
Despite being installed as per instructions onto a clean, new, soil stack, this leaked badly at the joint with the soil stack (not the 22mm compression joint). So I tightened it. Still leaked. So I reseated it. Still leaked. So I applied Fernox LS-X between the rubber washer and the stack - still leaked around the threads. So I added more LS-X on both sides of the nylon washer and around the thread. Now it is dry. So I advise you buy some sealant to go with it!
