Salt and Pepper Grinder Set - Stainless Steel - Manno Italiano

I had a problem with my first one and the company sent me an email and then a new one. It works fine. I like the idea of being able to grind and then measure using the caps on either end. The company service was wonderful.

This worked well for about 2 years. I got about 2 more years of problematic use out of it until it literally fell apart into a dish I was preparing. I paid around $15, so I'd say that I got my money's worth.

I would give it 0 stars if possible. DO NOT BUY THIS. My life only got worse when it entered into my collection. It is tall, ugly, made of cheap plastic, and even cheaper stainless veneer if you can even call it that. I have to remove the stainless veneer cover to even use it, not the top and bottom, but the entire casing so that I can grip the cheap plastic in order to get a good enough grip to actually grind the salt or pepper. The fabricator has also answered a question stating the grinders are ceramic, they are not! They are cheap plastic, probably not even food safe! The whole thing screams cheap Chinese cr@p, if you care about your food you would not let one near your kitchen, let alone to sit out on your counter top as it's horribly unattractive. I couldn't be bothered to even return it, just threw it away, wouldn't even want to give it away, well maybe to my enemy, hmm, maybe I'll just ship it back to China.

Looks good and worked well before it broke and wouldn't grind the peppercorn anymore in only 7mo (purchased in Mar 2015). A real shame.

I love the concept of the dual grinder, but I wish it was battery operated.

Love it! Very stylish on the counter. Use it every day. Very easy to use. Great value. Love having the salt & pepper in one mill.

Stylish on the dinner table and works very well. Sometimes confusing to guests on how to open the lids. Maybe a little "lip" would have been better than trying to pry open the thin lids. Also, the salt is a bit coarser than I'd prefer.

I loved this for the first week, I didn't even get halfway through the first filling of pepper before it just stopped working, still turns and makes a clicking sound but no pepper come out! So disappointed in this, I can't even get a replacement, only choice is to send it back for a refund. It's too bad, I really wanted to give the product another try.
