Works Well and Great Factory Assistance!
The controller works as described, and does its job quite well. So well that I purchased a smaller version of this controller for my RV's solar array. My solar collection system consists of 4 solar panels totaling 550 watts at 12 volts, the EPEVER MPPT Solar Charge Controller rated at 60 amps, 3ea 100 AH batteries and 1ea 4000 watt 12 volt to 115 volt inverter.I did have a problem with the MT50 remote monitor. The soft buttons would often catch on the surrounding plastic and need to be re-centered with one's fingernail. This resulted in the button being pressed several times, bypassing the function where it initially became stuck. Upon contacting the manufacturer, they immediately shipped a new MT50 replacement unit at no charge. The new unit works flawlessly!Overall the support from the manufacturer has been timely and excellent!

Very good charge controller
I've installed system myself recently, seems like I did the best choice with controller. I have house in rural area and no cables are reaching here ( I am located in Costa Rica). This little buddy charges battery bank and so far, it does it perfectly. I don't feel much heat, as some other people say. Backside is just a bit worm ( may be it needs more load to heat up... ) Well, anyway, if everything runs good and nothing breaks with time, I would definitely continue with this brand. It is true mppt charger, I see all the adjustments it does. Just FYI, I see charging stating around 5:30 in the morning and finishes around 6 PM in the evening. Nice :)

Good value, solid product, recommended.
Using in a van.Four stars is only because this model has not yet lasted the 20 years that I expect it will. This model is dated. From my research there has been little or no improvement in the efficiency or precision in moving electrons. For LiFePO4 batteries you should use a USER setting, which entails entering several voltage setting for the various stages of charging. This is a once and done task, though I'd save the settings .That said, I've had the charge controller since January and installed since July (currently it is mid-Sept. '24). Both the monitor and contoller have worked fine since then.EDIT: I have deleted yesterday's comments about one screw not engaging when securing the MT-50 into its surface mount holder. The problem was me.

WARNING! BUYER BEWARE OF THIS SELLER.
Updated 6-11-2021So after FINALLY getting a warranty replacement and getting it installed, it worked fine for about a month. NOW its overcharging my batteries. The battery type is set to USER, the Charging Limit Voltage is set to 27.8v and the Over Voltage Disconnect is set to 27.9v. The charger is blowing RIGHT past these two settings and pushing the charge voltage to well beyond 28.3v+. I have to manually trip the incoming breaker to shut the power down from the panels to keep this thing from setting my Lithium Ion batteries on fire.I get more and more frustrated with this charge controller and company by the day.UPDATED: 05-01-2021The product is 'ok' when its working but this seller is a fraud. After about 4 months, the comms board inside went bad and I could no longer program or monitor the charge controllers status. After several exchanged with the factory, they confirmed that the charge controller was the issue and told me to contact the seller for a warranty replacement. After emailing this guy several times I was assured that he was 'just waiting on a warranty replacement from China' even though he had others for sale on Amazon. He simply waited out the Amazon complaint window then went dark and hasn't responded since. Now here I am at 11 months and the charge controller has 100% failed. The product isn't terrible, but expect failure and expect NO help from this vendor.CAVEAT EMPTOR.

Impressed, so far...
Bought two recently. EPEVER 100 Amp MPPT Solar Charge Controller 200V . Running them hard, up to 90 + Amps they're doing very well. Laying on their back with a Laptop Cooling Pad under each works very nice. One was missing the RJ47 cable, not a big deal. They get pretty Hot I'd suggest a small helper fan mounted in any configuration. 18 Newpowa 210 watts on one, & 16 Richsolar 200 watt on the other. The Newpowas have a much lower Voltage and work a little better if you can deliver the extra Amps. The 200 watt Richsolar ran the Voltage over with more than 16 of them. Never had to call Tech Support, they're working as well as the smaller 40s did..

Works right out of the box, and seems to have flexibility to meet changing needs
This is my first attempt at putting together a solar system. I have some off grid property that it would be too expensive to bring grid power to. I have a well on the property, and I put a Truhorse DC submersible pump in it. I ran the pump directly from two of my four 285 watt Trina solar panels, but decided it was time to move to a more flexible solution. After some research I picked the EPEVER MPPT Solar Charge Controller 60A. The open circuit amps on the Trina Panels is 12 amps or 4 * 12 gives 48 amps total so 60 amps should provide ample head room. I bought 6 AGM 12 volt 100 amp batteries wired in series and parallel to make a 24 volt system. Plugged i the EPEVER and solar panels to batteries and it just worked. I am now adding 2 more AGM 12 volt 100 amp hour batteries and rewiring it into a 48 volt system. The EPEver supports that as well with out changes.I have a lot to learn and I have not run the system I have put together has not passed the test of time, but at this time I have a very high opinion of the job that the EPEVER is doing for me.
