This reed case is very obviously NOT for oboe reeds. They do not fit in the case at all. A clarinet or sax reed would fit nicely, and it is an attractive case, but it will not close with an oboe reed in it! The staple is too thick and prevents the case from closing. It also does not have the ribbon-style holder; it has two elastic bands in it to hold the reeds in place. Very obviously for flat reeds, not double reeds! Oboists, look elsewhere!

Pretty case and protects well. It would be nice in a larger size.
