I had an unlighted double-sided mirror for shaving, but it was always hard to see because the bathroom lights were only on one side. There was no electrical outlet close enough for a regular lighted mirror either. I didn't want to spend $$$ to get an outlet installed just for a mirror, so I just lived with it, that is, until I stumbled across this mirror. It has been the perfect solution. I had to buy a longer USB cord to reach the outlet, but that wasn't a big deal. I pretty much knew that before I ordered it. The lights on this mirror are bright. The mirrors are clear and of good quality. I can actually see all of my face when I'm shaving. The wife likes to use it for her makeup too. If I had to pick a nit, it would be the size of the magnifying mirror. It is smaller due to the ring of lights around the outside. You have to jockey your face into just the right position to get in focus. It's really just the nature of the beast and really doesn't take long to get used to. Again, just a nit-pick. I'm really happy with the mirror. The battery life is great too. I use it every day to shave, plus the wife using it for makeup, and it easily lasts a month on a charge. I've never actually ran the battery down. Good stuff!

Less than a year in use the product isn’t fully functional. There’s a hiccup in the switch somewhere - and light doesn’t always turn on unless I jiggle the mirror. Very disappointed in production of this switch mechanism. Wish I could return.

It’s a fine mirror, but if you need the light to work more than 4 months, probably not the best bet. Reached out to manufacturer and they wanted to send me a light kit that I would have to disassemble, install and reassemble. How about you just replace the product that has a year warranty on it with a new one. Disappointed.

Overall nice, easy to install, but Led light not very bright. And came with charging cable but, No actual charger as the description and pictures show.

Don't buy cheaper models. Invest in this one. It works perfectly and I wish I had treated myself to one sooner. Instead I bought cheaper vanity magnifying mirrors with fewer features and should have just gone with this one from the start.

This is probably the best makeup mirror I have had. Even my husband thinks it cool! You can install it and have no chords, but then recharge it when you need it. The recharger has a magnetic end so all you do it pop it on and it does it thing! Brilliant!

Liked that this has a rechargeble battery built in and Can also be hardwired to electricity. Also arm is very sturdy and stays in place in whatever position. Make sure like the other comments that it is not installed too high
