Holding up well for the price

When I got home and saw the box it came in I was like daammnn that's huge! But it was actually perfect for the comforter.The comforter... when I opened the packaging, I could feel how soft it was so I was super excited. I instantly set it up on my bed and jumped on it. It certainly feels nice. Upon looking at it, I noticed it doesn't look as puffy as the photo :( .... but it still looks good :) so that was ok. The comforter is not as thick as I want it but it's still is good. I wanted it super thick and puffy, like a cloud lol but I got a medium to light thickness. It's not a bad thing at all...it will do.The King SIZE fits my bed nicely... (IF U HAVE A QUEEN SIZE BED, DO ORDER THE KING)I bought the purple and grey one. The purple and grey are both a little darker than the photo but still very nice. I used the comforter last night and it felt great. It's very comfy and I was warm the whole night (normally I'm cold especially because my hubby is a blanket thief! I guess it was warming enough for him too because he didn't steal the blanket last night, whoo hoo!)Final thoughts: I like it a lot, not love it. If it were thicker like a big fluffy cloud I would have loved it. Overall: Good blanket, comfy, and soft.

I was a little skeptical buying such a cheap comforter online without knowing what it felt like or the quality. I love it and it was a great purchase for the price. The colors are as pictured and it is very soft and warm. It has a sort of chemical smell when you first open it but it went away after the first time I washed it. I also like that I am able to put a cover over it if I want to. The only thing I didn't like/was surprised by were the pillow shams. They say reversible but they are just different colors on each side and there is no way to seal the purple side and there is a split down the middle, so you are stuck with charcoal unless you want the pillows to look weird. I have only washed it once so far so I don't know how well it holds up to multiple washes yet.

UPDATE:: 02/21/2013:: I just completed the first wash and surprisingly the comforter held up. No loose threads and no filling coming out.02/14/2013::Sears sells the same exact one, however, theirs is listed as 86x86. Its obvious Amazon has taken the picture from Sears. If you notice, the light blue side has diamond shapes. The cover I received has square on both sides. I believe this may be an imposter. The threads, as well as the filling were coming out since day one. I did not realize this to be the case because it was small amount of polyester in various spots but not actually in a corner. A few days later I decide to check the corners and low and behold a bunch of filling was pouring out. Also, last night, as I was shifting under the cover my big toe had been caught on a thread. I gentle reached over to turn the lamp on, while my toe was still in the thread. I took a close look only to find very long unsown threads along the border. I decided to take a lighter and burn the threads, all the way around the borders, to create a head on it, as to hope it will stop any further unthreading. Mind you, it was 11pm and here I am burning my new cover. I hope it washes well or else it's back to my original one. Here's a link to the Sears version, notice the size discrepancy. My next purchase is from Sears for the same cover, I hope theirs is a better quality even though this one is nice and soft.<...>I added a photo to show the size issue and some wired thread issue also.

I've had this comforter on my bed now for about two weeks. It's very nice. Far nicer than I expected. Far softer than I expected ... and it's really, really warm. I bought the king-size and it's turned out to be a great value at $25ish with free shipping. There's no way looking at it that you'd think I didn't $100 or more for it. I'd buy another in a heartbeat.I haven't washed it yet but I'll update my review if it goes badly._____5/20/12I've washed it twice. So far I like the feel of it and the color is nice on the brn side and a little more yellow then cream on the other, but my only huge complaint is that the king size is a little small... it barely covers the bed and no where near hangs like the photo.Update:On the upside I have washed it multiple times and it has really stood up well.Update:I hope they bring this one back because even after multiple washings this has really stood the test of time. It's still super soft and the filling has stayed in place even after my husband put in in the dryer on accident.

The edges are kinda lumpy and here is where the fact that it is an inexpensive product shows the most. I chose a navy color and every so often can see a bit of the white thread used on the design, just barely. However, it is lightweight, comfortable, and warm, and I really like it. I would recommend this to anyone who, like me, is allergic to goose feathers and does not want to spend a great deal more money. This product is so comfortable I look forward to feeling comfy and warm when the nights require it. In fact I use this as my bedspread, and think it looks quite nice.

I LOOOOOOVE this down-alternative comforter! My reasons for avoiding down are that I'm allergic to feather bedding, and also (and more important to me) that I try to get only cruelty-free products, and I know how those geese are (mis)treated.This duvet is *wonderful*! It's light, and fluffy - the loft feels not only as good as a down comforter, but even *better!* I bought this for my guest room, and I liked it so well that I got another for myself!

Absolutely worth the money. High quality and washes well. I highly recommend this for someone who is on a budget, yet wants quality.

There isn't much to this comforter. Looks decent, but it won't provide much warmth.
