Microdermabrasion Kit by Olay Pro-X Microdermabrasion Plus Advanced Cleansing System Refill 1 Kit Packaging may Vary

I bought this originally with the little Olay spinner machine. Total impulse buy, but I've been trying to save money and the $120 I was shelling out for microderm twice a year (I've had six of them at various salons) was feeling like more than I wanted to spend. For about $30, I thought I'd try this. The first time I used it with the little spinner machine, I was very careful to go over all my face twice, just like the girls do when they do the salon microdermabrasions. What was BETTER about this than the salon microderm, was that it was ME doing it. I know how my face feels, I know how long to stay on one area of skin and when to move on so it doesn't get irritated. It took about 10 minutes to do a thorough job of it - sounds like a long time, but it saved me about an hour and a half if you count the time it took me to drive to the salon, wait in their waiting room, have the girl do the actual procedure, and then drive home. The shortest microderm I ever had was 20 minutes plus drive time, the longest was well over an hour, so 10 minutes is nothing. Then, just like they do at the salon, I put a layer of vitamin C serum (skinceuticals) on my face, (I know, I should have done a mask first, but I had neither the time, nor the patience), then a high quality moisturizer (skin medica.) My face felt great and I had that same glow I love getting with microderm at the salon. The real kicker was that the next morning, it STILL looked great. I am sold. The next time I tried using the thermal crystal polisher with just my fingers to save time. I did not get the same results, so I am back to taking the time with the little machine. GREAT buy.

It used to be $15.00.This review is for the Olay microdermabrasion refill scrub only.Just FYI, you do NOT need to buy the entire kit...you only need the refill scrub and just apply with your fingers. For me, my fingertips can get into all areas of my face, using firmer or lighter pressure as needed. I use circular motions. The wand that comes in the full kit just doesn't apply enough presure for my skin type, I need a firm application and use the product nightly with Retin A and vitamin C. I have no lines or wrinkles but my skin has built up a tolerance to any type of exfoliation. You definitely need to start out slow and gentle especially if your skin is sensitive, until you find the best routine for your skin type.The magic is in the microdermabrasion scrub itself. The material within the scrub feels exactly like the quality in professional microdermabrasion treatments. Nearly every store brand I've tried is too soft, and not aggressive enough to show results. Not this stuff! It has a grittiness similar to sand and it literally polishes my skin to a smooth finish. It preps my skin for my nightly regimen and everything penetrates much nicer.It exfoliates all flakes, unclugs pores and gives my skin a healthy, shiny gow. No other scrub produces results like this one.Definitely a 'holy grail' product for me!

I haven't been able to tell a dramatic change in the color of my complexion but overall, I still love this product. Using the pad to wash with the scrub makes your face feel so much more cleaned and refreshed. I have only been using it for a couple of weeks and only a couple of times a week so its possible the tone of my skin will change as time passes. Either way, I recommend this if you are looking for a good scrub a couple of times a week.

This is a gritty product that exfoliate like no other. I've been using this product for over 5 years and loving it each and every time. You don't need the device that a company's is although I do have one, I don't even use it. I just use warm water and put a dollop in my hands, I scrub my T-Zone and circular motions and then use a nice milky cleanser and moisturizer. My face will be smooth 4 a full week or if not longer with wearing makeup everyday. If not, it'll stay smooth until I start getting dry patches again. I do have pretty dry skin. I would say that I have dry to combination skin. It just depends on which areas. This is the best exfoliator next to Guerlain Paris that I've ever used. Love it!

This is the only scrub I use on my face! Better than homemade and the other popular store bought scrubs on the market, and highly underrated!I used this with my Olay system, the system is already great, this is truly amazing, with the only caveat being that I use the scrub with my hands manually, as opposed to using it with the pad it recommends.This scrub is dense enough that it really gets a good clean and exfoliation, but small enough that it won't disrupt sensitive skin. Ive used scrubs from the store that are super popular and Ive made them at home, and this one surpasses them all. A lot of people don't realize a lot of acne is simply due to death skin cells not shedding, so with the addition of an exfoliation routine daily you can greatly improve your skin condition. Follow up with a good moisterizer. I use Argan oil, Castor Oil and Shea Butter for natural moisterization.

This item was purchased because I needed a way to wash my face after having surgery on my dominant arm and knew that I was going to have a problem doing every day tasks. This was the answer I was looking for. My skin, usually a problem if not cleansed properly, has remained clear and the Pro X was easy to use. Clean clear skin is the way to feel better when you feel a little under the weather. I have continued using it since gaining use of my hand. Hint: wet your face with a little water, turn the Pro-X on low and run it across a bar of baby soap and use this in between using the abrasion and polishing products. The discs are easy to load, use, and rinse. Love this.

Absolutely fabulous product. Shame not available in UK stores. Had to wait to be delivered from USA but worth waiting for. Noticed the difference after first use. I'm fighting off the sun damage mark on my forehead and had been told that microdermoabrasion will help. Done couple of sessions at professional beauty salon but it's very expensive to do it very often. I bought this product and I'm having the same treatment at home for the fraction of the price and as often I want.

Cant go wrong with Olay Mircodermabrasion. Would highly recommend this to everyone. Don't hesitate to buy and use. I have combo skin, hence oily T bar and dry cheeks. Works very well, doesn't dry out the cheek area, so long as you don't over rub it like any product. Give it a go.
