This stuff looks great and, so far, works like a charm!
This product has been a great purchase! We renovated our downstairs to serve as a rumpus room, and "gym mat" flooring was both economical and sensible. It actually feels good to walk down there barefoot, as it has much more "give" than standard floors and carpet. I purposely fell on my knees and it wasn't so bad! This stuff is thick enough to serve as a good mat and spare most falling injuries. The tiles themselves fit together pretty well, though it's still clear they are mats. The pattern works pretty well for a floor that wants to look better than rainbow squares or pure black. It's not abuse-proof, mind you. I dropped a rubber mallet on it from 4 feet, and that did leave a wedge cut in it. This is great for a basement because we ended up getting a monsoon of rain the day after I installed it. Needing no tape or glue, I could just pull up the wet tiles and let them dry before reinstalling. NOTE: This seller limits orders to 4 boxes per address. This was not enough for my basement (I needed 6), so I had a friend order some as well. To purchase these products on the seller's regular website would be more than triple the cost, so Amazon is a cheap as it comes for this product line.

Looks great, feels great - but take care...itโs still foam.
These are really great for a home workout space. Super easy to install although you must pay attention to the tile edging to make sure you have the right corners (youโll understand it when you get them). You will definitely have all right corners it just might not seem like it. These are so much better than the day-care, primary colored puzzle piece foam flooring weโve been forced to buy in the 90s - bravo to Forest Floor! Just a word to the wise - this is FOAM. Donโt put it down and think you can cat walk in your spike heels. You want to be gentle with this floor to make it last. My heaviest dumbbells left little dents and it popped back out fine. Just know that you are buying an impact absorbing flooring that does the job of being nice to joints but could get trashed quickly if roughly cared for. We havenโt had any problems at all with up but interested to see how it stands up over time. Pretty cheap though, so just go for it!

Perfect for basement teen hangout!
I purchased these about a year ago to use over concrete in a roughed in basement hangout for teens. Itโs super easy to installโฆeven around pillars and crooked old house walls. It warms up the concrete basement, and makes it more comfortable for the kids. And itโs held up remarkably well! One of the reasons I went with foam tile flooring was the knowledge that it would be easy to clean up if water got in the basement. Last fall (when the flooring was just partially in place), I ended up experiencing that first hand! The sump pump got unplugged and after heavy rains, the drain backed up into the basement. I was devastated at first, but as I cleaned up, I realized that most of the water went under the tiles! They protected the video game gear that was scattered around, and the furniture was fine. It was just rain water, so cleanup was really easy and after drying off, the tiles went right back in place! Cannot recommend enough for a durable and inexpensive basement flooring!

Oops
So the only reason I have given this 4 and not 5 stars. Because when you see my pictures (that I have enclosed), 1 edge piece was defective. I only wanted that piece. So I called the company. FYI, if you order them through amazon, you can only deal with amazon, not the company direct, I was informed when I called the company. Even though they give you a 1-800 number to call the company. So I called Amazon. They would only replace the whole floor. As I explained to them, that was a lot of floor to pick up again and pack up again.. That I only needed the one piece. I also explained what if the next set you send me. There's something wrong with it? They did end up giving me 20% refund. That doesn't help me with the one piece though. Now for the product. It seems pretty durable, and it has a wood grain texture to it. I have not actually thrown water on it, but it seems to be water resistant. When my husband came home, he was so excited from the extra cushion on the cement floor he wanted me to buy more. I did purchase not 1/2 in. but 5/8 thicker. I think you would be happy with that. I know they are easy to wash off. Because we have some other ones like it. As you can see from my pictures, it looks good on the basement floor. The puzzle pieces do fit together, but you can still see where they go together too. Other brands are not like that, they're almost invisible where they go together. The whole floor gives me a 100% of functionality, and the quality of the foam seems to be top notch. They do seem to give you more "corner pieces" finished ends then the straight away pieces. So you could use them in several different places, I guess. You can always cut to make a straight away piece out of the corner pieces, at least it looks that way.. I will be buying this product again. Just beware, If you have a problem, get ready to pick up the whole floor again. And folks, let's be honest, you're not buying a true floor, so for the product that it is, it's worth the money. Hope the video helps you.

Great for basement or garage floors
I was finishing my basement and so I bought this as the flooring to use, I know, a little weird, but I had a toddler and another on the way and the plan was for it to be their playroom. This stuff is awesome the kids love it, can crawl around on it, when they spill things, just pull up a section and you can dry under it. Its great. Also, the leftover sections I gave to some of the members of my car club and now they are used in their garages so they have something comfy to lay on when wrenching on their cars. It also looks great

Charcoal black print 5/8
Looked beautiful when you first installed it spent almost $600. 6 months later they're all destroyed. The print list off of the material. It said they were 5/8 thick but they were not. Bottom line if you have money to burn by them. Because I could have done my whole floor and would for cheaper and it would last longer.

WARNING-don't try to add more tiles if you purchased in prior years. They won't fit! LAME!!!
Planned obsolescence at its finest! I originally purchased a set of these for a workout area and after removing some furniture wanted to expand the mat surface so ordered 6 more tiles. Upon receiving the new mats they would not lock in place properly until we eventually flipped them over to the top surface down. I messaged the company directly (not through amazon) and their customer support claims they "improve their designs occasionally". This is obviously not an "improvement" considering nothing changed with the cutting pattern. They just flipped the working surface over so now you have to buy all new mats. Or better yet find a different company to buy from. I'm really disappointed b/c I did like the quality of the mats overall. The photo shows the cut pattern is the exact same, but will only fit flipped over. Lame.

Easy to assemble and cut to custom spaces for a little extra padding!
I got these for my van and they are great. They are soft so I can kneel on them. They are a cool mock wood coloring to fit the vibe. And they are easy to cut to custom fit in different spaces.

They're okay
For the price I don't think they are worth it. They are a little thicker than the others but you can see the print of the rubber under the woodgrain which does not look great.
