This is beautiful! It has a velvety texture and fits very well. It had a little nick where the edge looks white or metallic (not a deal breaker), and I chose not to return it because it was so minor.At first I couldn’t get it to fit my MacBook Pro (despite verifying the model number, etc). I took pictures so I could show how the top fit fine but the bottom would just slide off if you picked up the laptop. I was so upset and just wanted to vent!!! Finally deciding I shouldn’t assume it doesn’t fit after all the good reviews, I decided to watch some videos which didn’t seem to help either. At some point I realized I had to hook it into the other side before snapping on the side I was trying to do first. It’s hard to explain, but there are tiny little tabs (I mean barely noticeable ones) on the case that hook in to (above or below) a black strip on the lower part of the MacBook. Even though there is barely a tab and the black strip looks like plastic that might break if you futzed with it, it clipped in perfectly and stays on perfectly!!The only thing I have to be careful with is making sure I open the front of the MacBook and not the back. For some reason with the case on, I kept trying to open the wrong side. Luckily I am more mouse than elephant in the strength department and the slight resistance each time made me realize I was trying to open the wrong side of my macbook.

The graphic was absolutely stunning and the front cover looked great but it left a lot to be desired once installed. the bottom piece did not adequately stay attached (almost caused me to drop Macbook too) and caused the exhaust fan to run excessively after only a short period of time. The keyboard skin did not fit, looked cheap and serves no purpose since it doesn't cover the entire surface. Installation instructions were not clearly provided so it was difficult to determine which way the top was supposed to go for it to fit properly. Once on, there was an issue with it not fitting snuggly along all edges and not providing any real protection at corners. The first and only time I took my device with me after installing the case, the cover chipped from simply being in my bag that was then placed on the front passenger seat of my car. When I tried removing the cover, it cracked as a result. I had purchased another cover from a different seller previously that withstood me transporting my Macbook daily to and from activities and school with the only wear and tear being the graphic showing slight fading over time. I don't recommend this set if you are looking for any type of protection for your device.

Cover fits perfectly. Snaps on easily! Initially, the little feet didn’t want to stay on, but they did after a day or so. The keyboard material is good quality, but it makes finding the letters more difficult to see. I had purchased a clear one separately so the backlight would show and I thought the quality of the matching key cover was much better. Just sucks that it doesn’t allow light through. It doesn’t shift around when you type either, but no key illumination is a deal breaker so I just use the shell itself. I would still recommend both items. If they could come up with a fix for the key lighting, I would give 5 stars. I find that the silicone cover slows my typing I passed on it for that reason as well, but that’s a personal preference.Note- since I never used the key cover other than testing it when it arrived, I can’t vouch for how long the color/letters last or if they fade.Update - been almost a year and still looks knew! I use my Mac everyday and the print on the shell looks perfect as day one!!

This cover is so cool and I have already gotten many compliments on it, but it is not as sturdy as I had hoped. The piece you place along the bottom of the computer keeps coming off on one side and I’m afraid one day it’ll fall off without my noticing. Guess we’ll have to see. Very happy with the look though

Almost within minutes of use, some letters peeled off. The rest within a matter of days. I never took the time to review it before because I figured it was just as well for the price, but I decided to post because others might want to know. I would still buy again, so this doesn't affect my decision in the future, but I thought new buyers might want to know.

The print quality on this case isn’t nearly as nice and crisp as shown. It’s blurry and flat, and very disappointing. Maybe if I was on the complete other side of a room looking at it I might not notice but up close it’s lackluster. The keyboard cover is flimsy and mine already came with scratches. I know you get what you pay for and it’s supposed to protect your investment, but now I’d definitely rather spend the $40 on a plain Incase shell.

I received the beautiful mermaid case and keyboard cover within three days. It’s very easy to put on and assemble. The only thing is that in real life the cover is more pixelated

This cover is very beautiful. It fits perfectly on my Macbookpro A1708. It was simple to put on, just had to snap the top and bottom pieces into place. The flowers on the cover look great, they don't look pixelated or cheap and it feels nice to the touch. The cover itself is very lightweight. The keyboard cover feels soft and so far I haven't had any trouble typing on it. Shipping was fast and the product came in without any damages.
