Q: Are the cartridges prefilled?

Yes. But if you want them empty we can also ship empty sets.

Q: My printer is displaying a message "The following cartridges are damaged or defective..." and shows all 4 colors. How do I fix this?

Have not had this problem yet. So far only one cartridge installed. Now all cartridges show 100% on the ink level display. But, only the newly installed refillable is really 100%.

Q: Can these cartridges be used in a cis system? Are the tops detachable so the user can replace them with HP cartridge tops?

I bought these cartridges as a replacement for my old cis system which expired and leaked (very messy). I hooked up my old cis tank to them and it works fine. These carts. are identical to my old cis carts.

Q: HP-88 have a rubber bulb wich when pressed by a lever of the printer it pumps ink. Do this cartridges have such a device?

No, this one doesn't have it, and doesn't need it. The original HP printer has this feature because the cartridge is sealed, and need to be pumped so that the ink can flow out. Our refillable cartridge is not sealed. It has a special air regulating valve which controls the ink flow. So it doesn't need that pump. The printer's lever will still be going up and down but nothing will be pumped(it won't hurt the levers, it just goes up and down against an empty space underneath the cartridge).
