This is a good utility knife, just the right size, and does a decent job of cutting. I like the solid wooden handle which is a good feature. However, I am starting to look for another knife with a serrated edge. I feel a serrated knife would cut a little better. Overall this knife was still a good purchase.

This knife feels good in my hand. It is so sharp I had to warn everyone not to leave it in the sink as I have very poor vision. I do like the wood handle and it has almost a scalpel or craft knife like feel to the cut but I would not trust this with trying to work with wood because of the thickness.It does remind me a lot of grandpa old wood handle knife he kept around.

This is a small family business, so it might take longer to get them delivered, but they are SO worth the wait. These knives are as good as the most expensive knives you can buy - but they are so reasonably priced! They sharpen beautifully, and cut like a razor blade. I buy several at a time now, as they are my gift to others when invited to dinner, instead of bringing wine. I keep extra for myself, because I can't imagine my kitchen without them!

Quality of knife for price is very good but, I would prefer a bit more ergonomic curvature on the handle.

J'ai connu les couteaux KIWI il y a une vingtaine d'années. Un couteau à légumes léger et super efficace. J'en faisais cadeau à tous mes proches et tous l'adorent. J'ai perdu le mien, panique en la demeure. Je l'ai trouvé chez Amazon et reçu avec un délai raisonnable. Quel bonheur, ils sont fantastiques, c'est un plaisir de cuisiner avec ces couteaux. Je ne peux simplement pas m'en passer.Les couteaux que j'ai commandé sont le 501 et le 503.

un truc à 4 sous,pas terrible terrible d'aspect (un peu quincaille) mais qui coupe (pour le moment) comme un Damas 67 plis à 50€. S'il part à la poubelle avec les épluchures , on supporte mieux.. Bref un couteau à tout faire qui en donne bien plus que pour son mini-prix. Je conseille fortement sauf pour le candy

Die flexible Edelstahl-Klinge ist mit 1mm Rückenstärke recht dünn (es ist dennoch kein "Gummimesser"), besitzt aber trotzdem noch mit eine gewisse Festigkeit. Allerdings ist es je nach Anwendungsgebiet einers Messers nicht immer von Vorteil, wenn eine Klinge zu fest ist. Für ein Obstmesser sollte die Klinge somit eine gewisse Flexibilität besitzen.Dieses Messer möchte ich keinesfalls als Fehlkauf interpretiert ansehen. Für das Geld ist die Verarbeitung ganz ok und die Schärfe lässt keine Wünsche offen. Wirklich ätzend ist nur der beknackte Papieraufkleber auf dem Griff. Dieser lässt sich nur mit einiger Fummelei spurlos entfernen. Den könnte man sich sparen.Mein persönliches Fazit:Dieses Messer ist ein sehr praktisches Werkzeug in der Küche. Man kann mit dem Kauf zu dem Preis absolut nichts falsch machen - die Ergonomie passt, die Klinge ist entsprechend scharf.Nachtrag vom 16.04.2016:Inzwischen habe ich den Holzgriff an den Kanten mit einer Feile abgerundet und danach mehrfach mit Leinölfirnis behandelt. Der Griff liegt dadurch noch besser in der Hand und ist von der Ergonomie her deutlich besser geworden.
