This works great. Umbrella is completely stable. It used to be wobbly.

Having an outdoor space became incredibly important after months of lockdown, so I finally broke down and bought a patio umbrella. I'm on the third floor up here, so it was only a couple of days into using it that I noticed the way it would spin with the wind when I had the umbrella tilted. That's when I learned about umbrella cones. I bought this, put it on with a little olive oil to help move it up the pole, and it made nearly all the difference. Turns out the stand that came with my umbrella wasn't up to snuff, but a quick run to Ikea got me a nice concrete stand and now I've got a one-two punch of unmatched umbrella stability.

This is a great product but I should’ve believed that they were talking about dining tables as opposed to side tables that hold umbrellas. It would be great if they made a smaller item. Great quality.

This product is well made but I wish it has a larger hole. My umbrella will not go in it.

It was a little difficult to push in the umbrella hole but is sturdy and holds the umbrella steady. I can't address it's durability because I have not had it very long.

It is a good idea but it does not really fit a 1.5" pole easily! It does not slide down the pole unless you use some kind of 'lubricant'. I had to do that plus etch a thin line inside to allow it to expand a little.Also, it seemed that only a couple of turns were able to fit into the table opening. Maybe if the diameter (table hole) was larger it would fit a little better.But it solved the issue and it looks good.

No matter what we put to stabilize out umbrella it didn’t work. When I found this on Amazon I was so excited and it worked perfectly. No more problems keeping the umbrella sturdy.
