Well Built, Beautiful Bag
**UPDATE** This worked perfectly on Frontier Airlines as a 'Personal Bag.' It fit under the seat in front of me perfectly. They seem to have tougher requirements so I imagine this will work for most budget airlines. I fit enough in here for a week on Vegas. Perfect bag! This just came in and I love it!! Looks so spacious inside and seems very durable and well built. I'm not noticing any of the construction issues that others have noted. Shoulder strap seems strong and comfortable, as do all the zippers and pockets. Looks classy and hold so much more than you'd expect.I will be traveling on Frontier Airlines in early March and intend to use this as my 'Personal Item.' Though their policies don't affect the quality of this bag, I'll update later to let you know if I have any issues. Bought this solely to use on these budget flights to avoid baggage fees, so I'm hoping it works! Sure looks like it will!

Works as 'Free Personal Bag' for Spirit Airlines!
We were flying SPIRIT Airlines and I wanted a bag that would maximize my 'free personal item'. This bag was the closest I could find in the time frame that I needed it by. This is a nice size bag and exactly what I was looking for! The bag appears to be well made, it is 'squish-able' and not stiff like the picture may make it look to be. I was able to fit my camera bag in it as well as a change of clothes and my PJs and I had a little room to spare (the camera/change of clothes was my goal). It fit under the seat for Spirit just fine. The airports involved were MCO (Orlando) and CLE (Cleveland) - neither of these flights were big sticklers on making people stick their free bag in the bin to make sure it fit (I had heard Spirit at other airports were pretty strict and wanted to make sure we were in the free-bag-limit).Outside of Spirit Airlines - this would make for a very nice 'weekender bag' and I can see getting more use out of it other than just flying. It really is a convenient size!

Great Bag For Everday Necessities
I was looking to replace my carry all bag that I had purchased from LL Bean about 3-4 years ago. I wanted something a bit larger that could carry more items. This bag fit the bill...it is approximately the same size as my old bag, except that it is taller which gives more room. I'm able to carry medicines, supplements, otc items, toiletries, 3 of 16.9 oz water bottles inside an insulated lunch pack, and my Franklin Planner inside it's own carry case. Plus, there's room left over And that's inside the main, largest compartment.Only complaint is that my old bag had a separate, insulated compartment for refrigerated items...this bag does not and that's why I use the insulated lunch pack inside the bag. Two mesh pockets on the ends hold extra water or hand sanitizer, but to keep the water cold I use insulated bottle sleeves. Two zippered side pockets will hold any grab first items like eyeglasses, nosespray, or coughdrops. Overall, I really like this bag...

Great Boarding Bag
So glad I bought this Boarding Bag! Because I had filled it to the top with stuff that did not fit into my carry on suit case, I was not sure that this bag would fit so well under my seat on the plane. To my delight, the bag fit perfectly underneath my seat. I found the pockets on the side to be very convenient to hold bottles of water and books. Though the front zippered pockets work great for a lap top, I used them to hold folders and souveneirs I bought. I really like that the top of bag has a zipper which keeps things from falling out of bag. Velcro strap on back is good for slipping over suit case handle. However, in order to keep bag steady, you must place the two straps that are on top of bag over the suit case handle too. Have used it on four plane trips and so far it has kept up well.

Broke on first trip
I bought this bag for a three week trip that included several flights with my two year old. I wanted a bag that easily fit under the seat so we'd have easy access to food/entertainment. Unfortunately it didn't work out as well as intended.I was using the bag to carry a couple iPads, Kindle, DSL camera, food and some toys/activities. On our first flight, the bag was over packed and wouldn't fit under the seat. This isn't a huge deal, just don't pack it to the brim and expect it to fit. This bag is not intended to carry much weight. For one the shoulder strap is not comfortable when the bag is heavy, there is almost no padding. However even worse was that the shoulder strap broke a week into the trip. Thankfully I had a carabiner with me to reattach it, and the other end held together for the rest of the trip.I want to like the bag, however the quality isn't what I was expecting.

Great bag for flying
I bought the Samsonite Aspire GR8 Boarding Bag before flying back home for the holidays this year. The dimensions taken from Samsonite's website are: 16.5" long axis from end to end x 12.0" high from the floor to the top of the bag x 10.0" across. The inside is one big space which I love because it enables me to pack large stuff and small stuff. The rectangular shape makes it a more efficient use of space under an airplane seat. For larger airplanes such as a Delta 737 the bag fits perfectly, on a smaller plane like a Delta MD-88 you will have to leave a few inches on top empty for it to fit. The length is perfect as it doesn't stick out too much to trip over. The zippers are sturdy as are the handles and the color is a darker navy then what is shown in the stock photograph. I took a picture comparing it to my JanSport back pack and another while flying on a 737.

Four Stars
Correct size for under seat carry on. Lightweight. Zippers very stiff and difficult. Shoulder strap broke after 1 year and 25 flights
