Cleaned out all the old pond plants and a complete change of water altered the balance of the pond, of course the water went green could not see my fish, only when they broke the surface to feed. So updated the filter, and pump, also added a UV light and built a bog filter. Slowly the green water was clearing after a few weeks but was still cloudy with brown like particles floating in the water. So threw in a pond bomb, that wasted £16 as nothing happened, I don’t really like adding chemicals to my pond as I fear it might kill my fish I have had for years. But as the water was murky and brown decided to purchase this product, I filled a jar with some pond water and added a couple of drops you could see it working as it clumps the particles together and they sink. So mixed with water and added to the pond the correct amount. Next day nothing happened it seemed to be getting browner, and the same the next day, but the I decided to switch off the pump and leave it over night. I could not believe the difference in the morning, the water was so clear I could see all my fish and about 30cm down to my first pond ledge, so I switched the pump back on and it clouded up again must be stirring it up the sediment. So left it off and I am so happy I can now see my fish just what I wanted, I can’t see the bottom but that does not bother me, it’s the fish I enjoy. So I would recommend this produce, will do the second dose in 4 days.

Bought this to treat a garden pond which had started to cloud and there has been an improvement whereby the fish are visible to a greater depth, but this is not as effective as other treatments we have used in previous years, hence only a mid range overall rating.

This is a multi purpose product for murky green water so does the job but is slow to kill green algae for which there is a separate product. This could be made clearer in the product information

This product has killed all my fish unused before it was safe used yesterday to get up this morning all my fish were dead very angry and upset 😡😡

I’ve used this product for about a month and have not seen any improvement in the water becoming clearer yet. Not impressed so far !
