Mambe Large Classic 100% Waterproof/Windproof Picnic Blanket and Outdoor Blanket

I like this blanket a lot. Its relatively thin but super warm, I'm not sure whats in between the two layers, maybe some kind of reflective materiel like mylar, but it will keep you cozy in cold weather. I bought this primarily to take along with me when hiking/backpacking in the colder months. The only downside is that its rather heavy, but compared to a wool blanket its actually not too bad. The inner layer is very high quality and soft flannel and the outer layer is some kind of nylon, and its definitely waterproof.All in all, if you're looking for a stadium blanket or an emergency blanket to toss in the back of your car. This is about perfect. If you're a backpacker/hiker, only get this if you need some serious extra warmth (winter camping) or you don't care about weight, its definitely not for the UltraLight crowd.

Works great. Came with a strap with a buckle, that has a loop on one end (a carrying strap) and a storage bag that has a handle on the bottom and a toggle on the other end to cinch it shut.I haven't washed it yet or tested it's waterproofing ability-- but I trust the other reviewers that have had no issues. Just wanted to let others know that it comes with a strap and bag because that was one thing I was wondering about when I looked up this product.Also, the parent website has more products, so you might want to check there as well.

I purchased this blanket to use at an outdoor fireworks display. This blanket was slightly more expensive than others, but I was encouraged by the positive reviews I read elsewhere and decided to give it a try. The blankets (we ordered two) arrived very quickly. We used the blanket to sit on the grass all night at the fireworks and had no moisture seeping through, despite the fact that it had rained the day before. The fleece side was warm and comfortable. The blanket was large enough for our family of four, including two teenagers, to sit on and even have a card game in the middle. I would recommend this blanket highly.Interesting note, I had planned to return the second blanket, since the first one proved plenty big for our family, but when my m-i-l heard about this (after seeing our blanket), she asked if she could buy it from me so she could have a blanket of her own.

This blanket is much larger than I envisioned, even though I knew the dimensions when I bought it. I was going to use it as a blanket in the back seat of our car, but it is way too large for that. It is, however, perfect for a picnic or a day at the beach. It is now in the trunk of our car, waiting for whenever we need it. It is waterproof/water resistant on one side and very soft on the other side, and it comes with a strap so that you can roll it up and secure it.

Perfect for beach for two adults to lay down on. I'm 6'. Very nice outdoor blanket. I intend to get the thicker ones this winter.

Always keep it in the back of the car! Great for the park, and all the kids sporting events.I was the only mom that stayed dry at the soccer game that we were getting hailed on. I'm betting everyoneis going home and buying one of these. So glad I had it!!

Put it in the car, to use if I need it there, for those days when I got to use it to change a tire, or on a picnic table,

It really is waterproof! I could not find the size that I wanted in this bright pattern, so I bought a second one and will sew them together. It's a bit crinkly, but not bad at all. And.....waterproof.
