SpigenTough Armor Case Compatible with Samsung Galaxy S10 - Gunmetal

I've used Spigen cases on my phones for years now and never been disappointed. Got my current one on a Samsung Galaxy S10 so this is what I'll base my review on. With the inclusion of the kickstand feature which is very handy for watching netflix etc on the move its far superior to many other similar priced cases out there. You can feel how solid the case is when you first take it out the packaging, it has a solid rubber inner shell which fits snuggly around the phone with no gaps, this part has a small lip around the front to give added protection should your phone fall face down too. The kickstand piece is a tough plastic which clips onto the rubber part. The kickstand itself is really easy to pop out and in again and sits snuggly inside the case instead of popping out itself like some other cases. The case doesn't add any noticible weight or bulk and due to its smoothness slips easily in and out of jean pockets, but isn't too slippery that it'll fly out your hand when you take it out you pocket. The function buttons are very responsive and actually have their function written on them. The charger and headphone points are well cut out so there's no fidgeting trying to plug into them, and there's zero detrimental effect to the sound quality of the phone. I haven't dropped my phone from a high heigh but have had a few day to day bumps and drops and the case has fully protected my phone with only the slightest blemish visible on the bottom of the case, so I reckon it would stand up well to a bigger mishap.Only really two downsides I've found are the kickstand is on the same side as the volume buttons so if you are using it to watch something there's a minor inconvenience of having to pick the phone up to adjust the volume but that's it.Also because the case is such a snug fit it tends to squeeze off tempered glass screen protectors after a few weeks, so I've ended up using a film style one. In all honesty because of the lip around the front the screens pretty well protected anyway, but I personally put a film one on for that extra scratch protection as anyone who has ever had to knows phone screens aren't cheap to replace!I have in the past used other well known branded tough cases and while ok have changed them pretty quickly due to being either too bulky or heavy and usually not including the kickstand which I really like.Gave the case 4 stars but would've been 4 1/2 if it had let me.If you're looking for a solid user friendly case that will protect your phone and not cost a fortune then the Spigen tough armour is a no brainer

Works well the stand is the reason I bought it. But it's quite big and adds quite a lot of size. I bought the slimmer spigen one too and I've used that more. But would recommend if you want something that would offer lots of protection.

Had a Spigen case previously and always really happy with the quality and strength of the case. Fits the S10 perfectly, however after a few weeks of use I've noticed the top of the case covers the speaker and overtime it has collected small amount of dirt in the speaker grill hindering volume when taking calls. Made a small modification to accommodate, but i think this needs reflecting in the design to perfectly fit the S10.

I recently upgraded to a Samsung s10. An expensive phone (in my opinion, a great android phone). I was terrified of damaging it, as I frequently drop my phone, or my cat knocks it off a surface or the sofa onto wooden floors.I've had this for two weeks now, I've dropped my phone several times & there is NO damage! My balcony is concrete & that was the first place I dropped the phone & it was absolutely fine; not a dent or scratch in it & screen safe.I would say it does make your mobile more bulky if you're used to keeping it in your pocket, but it's so worth it, to keep the phone safe. I didn't necessarily want the stand, so that's just an extra I could do without it, but at the same time, it doesn't get in the way & if you use your phone to watch anything (while on a train etc.) then it works well.I always attach a strap to the back of my phone anyway, for ease of use, it stuck well to this case.The case IS very sturdy. It has only been two weeks but I think it's very durable, its easy to clean & most important of all - it works!

I have had mobile phones for over 20 years and have only once dropped one in that time (shouldn't tempt fate) and was lucky enough to not damage it on that occasion. I was not therefore too concerned about the lack of covering for the screen as the less careful would be.Laid flat on a table, the screen is suspended a little above the surface by the raised ends of the case which wouldn't help if dropped on a rocky path or maybe even an uneven pavement. Dropped from high enough, the phone might even pop out of the case but I don't intend testing it.On the positive side, it makes the phone much easier to hold (so less likely to get dropped) by making it slightly wider but with angular sides rather than the slippery edges of the original case. The cutouts are all fine with the accessories I have. And of course the case is relatively cheap.The material feels as solid as any other case I have used but only time will tell. After a month it shows no signs of wear.The swing out leg looks tremendously feeble and I am sure I will lose it as it is too tempting to fiddle with it but while it is there is does the job to let the phone stand up landscape to display video.Would I buy it again....After a month, the answer is yes.

I got this case when I originally bought my S10. Its been a couple of years now with every day use and some falls and the phone is 100%, no cracks or scratches on the phone itself.Yes you don't get the full front screen protection that you get from other cases, but there some protection with the elevated sides in that.If you drop your phone screen first I cant think of a lot of cases that can protect you.Plus the little stand is very useful for watching videos in your phone!
