BoschPR004 Offset Base With Roller Guide for the Bosch Colt PR20EVSK & PR20EVSNK Palm Routers

I used to have one of these and I broke it. Finally bought one again and forgot how great it is when laminating, works great in tight corners!

It's well made. It is a little hard to get on and off of the router. I was hoping it would get closer to the wall than it did but it still works good.

There will be a time where the base of your router or the height of your router will prevent you from getting into a corner. The offset of this gizmo will get you into almost any corner. It is a tool for a very specific use and not for general routing so you won't use it all that often, but when you do need it, it's the only thing that will work. I can see where a counter installer would use it a lot when trimming laminate in tight spaces. There is no depth adjustment except for how deep it is put into the collet, so that might require some trial and error. I used a small piloted round over/beading bit. and it worked great. I'm sure it's not really meant for that purpose, but I made it work.

Fantastic when installing counters and doing side n corner trims. Worth the money.

Wish I could find this for the big routers, little guy isn't built for the task. Used it to cut in a maple floor border in a round room. Worked good, but slow because of the router. Getting some chatter so I had to slow the router.

I'm from the Philippines and I'm having a hard time getting accessories formy power tools that's why I ordered it from amazon. I made a gamble sincethe unit I owned is a Bosch GMR-1 Laminate Trimmer (the Asian equivalentof the Bosch Colt Palm Router without the variable speed) I don't reallyknow if it will perfectly fit my unit, but what do you know! it really did!

The roller guide is useless and the whole thing is to complicated to set up. It is also too big and too heavy. Thought Bosch would come up with something better.
