Good for kids or as temporary phone
I got this phone for my now 11 yr old daughter. There's no SIM card as she really wanted it for games but would not accept a tablet that wasn't Samsung or an iPad. It does everything she needs, Google family compatible. Seems great so far. Might get one for my 5 yr old. It's that good.Oh and it comes with a screen protector and a case. It isn't the strongest, but this is a great purchase if you need a back up phone for a few days. I would buy a more sturdier, personalized case for long term use. I didn't buy a memory card to see how that would go.

Very good phone for the price.
The phone was affordable and has worked very well. The only negative I have found is that the volume level, when on a phone call, is too low and can't be raised to a level that I would prefer. Very solid phone overall.

Perfectly meets my needs
I needed a cheap phone with dual standard (mini) sims to receive important messages from time to time.I also didn't want to buy 2g only phone. Wanted it to work in AT&T network as well. From other pros:- even with 2000 mAh battery it can last more then a week (at least for now) in the mode i use it, don't like often charging- fresh android 8.1 (even though i'm not used to Go version)- pretty usable with maps and youtube (lags on 720p videos though) - not my usual use cases, just tried :)Sound is quite poor of course and no lid indicator which would be nice.Had a silicone case and glass cover in the box which is another bonus.Ah, for cons i can add that secondary sim works in 2g only mode, hence registers on T-Mobile only.I would have preferred a smaller size as well.UPD1: Cannot register it at AT&T's MVNO due to unrecognizable IMEI, T-Mobile doesn't recognize IMEIs as well. So works only with foreign SIMs (roaming) in the US atmNot removing stars yet, hope they will find a way to activate their service with the phone.UPD2: The issue with AT&T's MVNO has been sorted out.Works good as a temporary/secondary phone.

Absolutely disappointing
I purchased this unit in April of 2019 as a simple unlocked phone for my stepfather. After just two and a half months, it suddenly began having issues charging until inevitably after a week or so it completely flatlined. I tried everything I could but finally chalked it up to a design defect and contacted BLU directly, as it had been well past the deadline for a return/refund from Amazon. After a tedious exchange with BLU's customer service, I was informed I was able to open a ticket for repair that may NOT be covered under warranty (again, after owning it less than 3 months) AND that I was expected to pay for shipping and receiving to their facility. It's not the cost that was upsetting, but the principle.I paid $50 for a cheaply made "smartphone", and still would end up footing the bill for shipping and repairs, at their discretion. All that tells me is BLU is well-aware they make crap products, regardless of the appeal of having an "unlocked device" out the box. So hypothetically, for a year's worth of purchasing (defective) BLU's products, I determined it would better suit me to take the potential $200 to a reputable organization that will give me less hassle and provide a higher grade of customer service and support. You got me good, BLU! I'll eat the cost on this one, but I'll be sure to steer clear of any anything else offered and will happily direct anyone else to a more worthwhile endeavor.

blue studio x8
Using as a spare for backup. A bit laggy and does not work on 3 network but luckily had an old sim on another network.

Worth it for the price.
Great option for the price for my kiddos to have an emergency phone. Battery life isnt impressive and it's been hard to find a good cover for it but it's worth the $50 for sure.

Refresh SIM card
I have T-Mobile as my carrier and all I switched over the sim and it couldn’t read it, I had to call T-Mobile to send a refresher signal to the sim and it worked perfectly. Sound isn’t too loud but clear especially on phone calls. Great for my 6 year old!

Very delayed, bad camera, but will do in a pinch....
My BLU VIVO XL2 phone had a problem with the charging port, so I had find a quick, cheap solution. I bought this phone as a temporary replacement until I could figure out what kind of phone I wanted. This phone is good for basic use. It's very delayed in texting recognition and transitioning between online pages and the camera is poor quality, ... But, this phone did serve its purpose for a month. It shipped out and I was up and running again very quickly. I do plan on fixing my higher-quality BLU phone if I can do it myself, but I did end up purchasing a UMIDIGI Z2 PRO which has wireless charging....I would only recommend THIS phone for people with a highg level of patience or in case someone has no other alternative for a phone. My other BLU phones were wonderful....this one was quite the dud...!
