THUNDERBAY 6 or 9 Piece Ice Anchor Kit for Winter Outdoor Camping&Fishing

ThunderBay 6 Piece Ice Anchor Kit Got these to hold my Eskimo Fatfish 949 Fish House, and they work great. If you have a portable drill to get them into the ice.If you are going to try to drill these into the ice, you want either a drill bit smaller than the diameter of the anchors, or someone makes an eskimo drill attachment that you can slip the ends of these ice anchors into and drill them in with your portable drill. Either way, I find it challenging if you are trying to put these in by hand on a windy day, (when else would you want to go to the effort of using them??) and try to keep the fish house from turning into a kite and taking off. But once you get them into the ice and get your house grommets onto these anchors, you ain't going nowhere! You may tear your fish house from the wind, but that's not the fault of these anchors. You DON'T want to start these with a drill bit that's almost the same diameter as the anchor or it will pull out, but if you have a small enough drill bit that you can get the anchor started and then twist it down into the ice, you will hold in just about any wind!

I bought these ice anchors to go with my clam 1660 mag Six Pak clam ice anchors are junk. The Thunderbay ice anchors are awesome I would rate them best in class and a great value compare them to Eskimo anchors at 2 for 14$ theses picks are almost identical very sharp easy into ice and very sturdy not cheaply built we used mine this past weekend and my neighbor will be ordering these for his Six Pak also DO NOT BE AFRAID TO ORDER THEY ARE GREAT!!!!

Very nice set of anchors, very sturdy and effective. The drill adapter works great and makes the job easier indeed. Thunderbay is a very good company to work with, they have a genuine interest in customer service, would highly recommend.

Used these for half a season. they worked well. a bit hard to get to bite but works just as good as the eskimo counter part for less money. i do use a drill to put them in which helps with biting into the ice.

Product was better than expected. Adapter worked well and fit my other anchors. The anchors provided are very good with the tapered thread! Installation was great with less ice popping than other anchors.

The ice anchors seem to be good quality. However the drill adapter was missing from the order. That’s why they’ve only got 1 star. I’ve emailed the company and I’m waiting to hear back. I’ll update the review if they respond. Upgraded to 5 stars.Company replayed quickly and have send the missing part. I have the tracking number and the item is on it way. I would recommend these anchors. They seem good quality and customer service is good.
