Osprey Games Embers of Memory: A Throne of Glass Game

I read the entire Throne of Glass series, so I knew I needed the Embers of Memory game. All of the artwork on the cards is beautiful. I have not played the game yet, but it seems very complex. I can't wait to play though.

I know absolutely nothing about the book series that that this game is based on, but I've found it to be a fascinating game with a surprising amount of depth. I play a fair number of tabletop games, and this isn't just one of those flashy but mediocre tie-in games that you sometimes see. It's challenging and fun.The rules change for each chapter in the campaign. Sometimes it gets a little more difficult and sometimes you gain new advantages, and the changes keep the game engaging.The fantasy/romance theme probably means more to someone who knows and enjoys the books, but it also works kind of as a joke if, like me, you're unfamiliar with them and uninterested in the genre.

The game looks amazing, I can't wait to play :D The box came a little damaged but its ok.

I love this product and it is quality made. If you like the books the game will be fun to have in your collection.

The first aspect of the game to start with is Kuro's artwork. It's just gorgeous and to me, closely resemble how I imagined most the characters. What's great though, is that you can play not having read the series. BUT if you have read them, you gain that much more insight into the game and can engage that much more (and maybe even strategize a bit more?). Also, as a packaging nerd, the box the cards come in is beautifully crafted and sturdy.The game play itself can take a little time to understand- the rules booklet does look a little daunting. Once you do figure it out, which should only take five-ish minutes, it's simple to go from chapter to chapter. Another nice aspect is that you can continue playing however long you want. There are different sections with different tasks you can play, but you can also stop whenever you want.Overall, this is a game for new and old fans of the Throne of Glass series. (Also folks who like really nicely done card game packaging)

My daughter gave this to her friend for x-mas. They played it and loved it .

Hermoso set, imágenes preciosas... pero lo encuentro difícil de jugar. Como seguidora de su serie ToG y del Maasverso, lo recomiendo

o jogo é bem divertido, apesar de difícil.Ele vai levando em conta alguns capítulos dos livros com alguns dos principais vilões.Recomendo a leitura prévia para aqueles que, mais sensíveis, não lidam bem com antecipações de fatos dentro da história.Os desenhos são belíssimos também e, sendo sincero, foi o motivo de compra inicial.Pra quem pode fazer essa pequena farra - já que nesse governo e*****o está tudo bem ruim- e quem é fã da série da artista é um daqueles itens que é bem bacana de ter.

Ilustraciones muy bonitas en el juego de mesa, la jugabilidad no es demasiado compleja. Es necesario haber leído el último libro de la saga.

É um bom produto, muito bem feito e visualmente bonito, mas não posso deixar de comentar que para os fãs da saga a falta das artes de vários outros personagens essenciais no livro é realmente muito decepcionante...Vai pra coleção, mas infelizmente não realça tudo o que a saga trono de vidro realmente é.
