I’m an asian woman in my early 40’s dealing with oily skin, adult acne, age spots and large pores. My skin issues started in my mid-30s and got worse over time. I visited the dermatologist to figure out a solution but nothing worked. A special retinoI cream helped temporarily and then I started to break out again. I found this serum and read reviews on the internet and thought let’s give a try. I only use this serum at night. After almost 2 months of use, there is a significant change in my facial landscape. My acne cleared up - only get a few around my monthly annoying visitor. Also, the dark spots are less noticeable - it’s not all gone but start to fade. My skin looks brighter and not as oily in the morning. It could be the combination of my skin routine with this serum that has really helped my progress. Morning: cleanser, witch hazel toner, day moisturizer and anti-puff eye serum. Night: cleanser, witch hazel toner, sweet chef serum, night moisturizer and anti-puff eye serum. I will continue to use this until my skin doesn’t respond anymore and then I have to move onto another solution.

To the right is the first week of use. The 2 pictures to the left are after about a month, so far. Long story short, I used Retina trentinon thinking it would heal my skin and take care of my sunspots after having my baby. It just made everything worse with my skin. I had to stop the trent altogether and do some research. I've went through trials and tribulations with almost every product that I used that have claimed to help and calm skin after having an allergic reaction to trent. I came across sweet Chef after almost a year of searching. This works better than RETINA-TRENTINON!!! For sensitive skin, this is for you. I don't normally write reviews, unless if there's a big impact that's been made. ( Either good or bad.) This combined with Cocokind tumeric stick for spot treating my acne has been a game changer! Can't wait to see what skin looks like 3 months from now. Hope this helps anyone that's reading this that's going through the same thing. I have oily skin BTW.

I have tried a LOT of facial serums & this is by far 1 of my favorites. It gives results you can visibly see. I put it on in the morning & often don't need to put makeup over it. It has improved the overall tone & appearance of my skin.

I originally started using this product after finding a tiny sample size at target. I liked it so much I purchased the full size. It lasts a very long time as you only need a few drops. It’s helped with spot treating some melasma on my face, the fading is good just remember to pat it in vs rub. I feel like I’ve seen a try differed with that method on the darker areas.No scent really.Isn’t sticky after it sets in, and doesn’t do a weird white cast if it’s allowed to dry down a bit and you add your daily moisturizer on top.

I purchased a small bottle of this from a store for a dark spot I have on my arm. Its been there for a while. When I used it every day it worked like a charm. I didn't want to run out of it so when I saw it on Amazon I had to order it. My dark spot is almost gone. I've been using it for about 3 months now. Now I have started using it on my face on a couple of dark spots and its working. This is a good product for me.

I LOVEEEE THIS FORMULA! I'm 22, African American with acne-prone, combination, sensitive skin and these serum shots work so well for me. I bought this one along with the Kale one and I use them both daily (AM/PM); I definitely notice a difference. With this product it's subtle, but with continuous use, you'll see a difference.It has a light lavender smell which just makes it even more refreshing. Serums also don't take super long to dry on your face, they are thick, but not heavy; Which is important to note for those with oily skin, this really melts into the skin.

I loved how this smelled. Very natural scent, not purfumy or chemically. It absorbed well. I didn't irritate my skin. It mixed well with my other steps, didn't clump like some vitamin c can with other serums. Sometimes they "pill" up but this one did not. BUT... I don't think it actually did anything. I noticed no improvement in dark spots or brightening. I used one bottle. Did not feel like continuing... I bought something else instead.

This stuff really works. Earlier this year, my face continuously broke out (and of course I picked at it), and I ended up with a lot of acne scars and hyperpigmentation. I saw results with using this within a few days. I’ve been using it for about a month now, and my scars are almost completely faded.I was expecting this to smell strong since it has ginger in it, but it’s essentially odorless when you put it on your skin.I also noticed the smaller fungal forehead bumps had disappeared with the use of this product.

Really nice serum, it’s thicker then my others, so takes longer to sink in, but after just over a week I can already see an improvement in my overall skin tone, it’s more even especially where I have some hypopigmented areas, it seems to be adding more colour to these areas lacking in pigment! I’m looking forward to seeing how my skin future improves over the next coming weeks. 😊

Read a couple of external reviews and was looking for a more watery consistency. This one feels light but unfortunately leaves your skin very sticky... Won't be buying again although it did brighten my skin a little bin.
