Nintendo 2DS - Crystal Blue

I had a DS Lite for years but got rid of it. I wanted a 3DS but didn't wanna spend 200+ bucks for a 3DSXL... So I got this. I figured I wouldn't use the 3D (I used it in store once and it gave me a headache pretty quickly). I also remember my hands cramping up quite frequently from holding it constantly as I do have fairly large hands. This is just perfect for me. Sturdy build, looks awesome, comfortable to hold. Only issues I have and they're minimal are the home button is pretty crooked, and the way I have our router set up is to require N in order to connect. After talking to Nintendo I learned it doesn't support wireless N so I had to change the setting on our router. Other than that its been pretty awesome and super nostalgic!

Waited almost a month to get a defective 2ds it doesn’t charge at all sooooo disappointing

I love this DS. The crystal blue DS is a great throwback to the gameboys. My son calls it a robot DS because he can see all the parts inside. Its no different than the other 2ds. As far as a gaming system I would recommend this for younger video gamers. My son is 5 and its perfect for him. There is no hinge to break and it fits nicely in small hands. The price point is much lower than the 3ds as well which makes it a budget friendly option. It plays all the DS and 3ds games but does not have 3d capabilities. I do recommend buying a protective case for it, this is our second one because the first took a tumble down the stairs. Now my son is not allowed to carry it without a case.

Seller shipped a defective system. The volume slider was broken and has no sound playing at all. Also the rubber thumbstick was missing. I can at least play my games, just without sound. Seller hasn't responded to my request to exchange for another system.

if you have big hands this is not for you thats the only thing wrong with it

It came on time and was in amazing condition. I've played the 3ds, the XL, as well as the new 3ds with the C stick but for myself personally I enjoy this 2ds so much more. Being the way it feels in my hands playing super smash bros or any of my other games. Great buy !

To be honest I didn't buy any 3DS console cause I only buy consoles to play Pokemon. Spending $200+ on a new 3DS (at the time 3DS was released) wasn't -for me- the most comfortable choice. But with this little fella: The price was just perfect; the COLOR OMG! just like the 90s -oh the feelings- all the circuits and lights just great! Took like a day or two to get used to a new way of holding the device but very very good gaming experience.Ps.- I really never use the console in the street while walking or using transport so I store the console in mi backpack, no problem with that at least.

Great product. Comfortable, and sleek. Good for kids, and also adults. The see-through blue is reminiscent of the 90's gameboy colors and n64's. Highly recommended.
