A Great, Simple Tool
I needed to rebuild a deck for my 250 year old farm house. The previous rails had beautifully routed 1/8" rounds on each edge -- but I don't have a router... After researching the various options, my father encouraged me to use a tried and true method: a wood plane. Not only was this very cheap (~$16), but I was able to finish the project with less set-up and fixturing time compared to a router. In 20 minutes I had four 1'x2'x8' rounded with amazing results.Pros:-Amazing results with two passes (on pine -- harder wood may take more)-Initiates cuts easily-Small, cheap, and easily stored. Great product for this purpose!Cons:-Adjustment is somewhat fiddly. <5 minutes with included Hex Key-The grip is simple. I didn't slip, but it's not incredibly ergonomic.Overall:-A great tool at a great price. I'd buy it again! More so, I'm going to look at traditional tools from now on.

Saved the day for me
Had about 20 ft of 1/2" thick oak skirt board installed along the stairs, and the installer did not bother to round off the edges, so it looked bad. Using a router was not an option - not enough room for the bearing to ride on. This tool saved the day, rounding off 20 ft of oak in about 3 minutes! On the somewhat negative side1) Blade adjustment is tricky, and the instructions don't really tell how, so it was trial and error with pieces of scrap, but once adjusted properly, everything worked well; even on end grain.2) As someone already mentioned, the brass guide has sharp edges and left a thin scratch here and there.

Excellent tool for its intended use.
I have used this on every project since i got it and it's great at softening edges. It takes about ten minutes to set up. It has depth and lateral adjustments for both blades. Make sure to set the first blade to take half the total radius and the second to complete it. I haven't readjusted it since setting it up and have used it on Yellow Pine,White Pine, Poplar and pressure treated lumber. It works well on end grain also. I would recommend this to a friend and have.

Great tool
Great finishing hand tool producing smooth eased corners. Easy to use and adjust. Purchased extra cutters just for backup. Worth the money for the end result.

Barely works without major modification.
The product does work, but it needs to be setup properly, which it was not. My biggest frustration with this product was the cutter knives are made of steel with poor quality carbide inserts. the carbide was not nearly sharp enough for my taste and did not leave a nice clean edge. I cut the carbide insert out of the cutters and silver brazed in some high carbon steel inserts in its place and heat treated the tips of them with a torch and then tempered them (though it was a quick heat treat of just the tip since the HT temperature of the steel is higher than the melting point of the braze so i could not do a proper HT on the steel). once contoured and sharpened, those cut much better than the carbide though i will need to sharpen them more often. Obviously this is not something i would recommend people doing or having to do on a brand new tool. Did it work before that modification? Yes, but not up to the level that a plane should. Maybe i got a set of knives that were made on a friday afternoon and not all of them are that way, but at best, its poor quality control

Put away the router!
This tool is ideal for easing the edges on boards. I used to take out my router with an 1/8" round over bit to ease the sharp edges on boards. Now you can perform this task much faster without the use of a power tool.Consistent results every time! Worth the money!

Great plane, but lacking quality control
This is a good tool, but the quality control is lacking. The first one I received had a large splinter on top and the carbide cutters were sharpened at an angle, maybe 15 - 20 degrees off center, I'm talking side angle not the cutting edge. I sent the first one back, and the second one is a world of different, alignment is good, cutters sharpened straight. I lubed the adjustment screws, and honed the carbide cutters slightly. It is now a great plane. I planed several mdf shelves, and a piece of plywood in a few minutes. The finish is as good as the one my router produces, and in half the time. It would have been a five star rating if not for the first slickplanes quality control.

Worked as advertised!
For a project I was working on I needed to create quite a few shiplap boards that required a radius on the the exposed edges of the boards. Would have taken quite a bit of time to do with a router and radius bit to setup and run but the Slickplane with the radius knives did the job with minimal setup. I just needed to watch the grain direction so it would cut smoothly rather than grab the grain. It didn't take long to get the hang of it and it did a good job.

Lamentable calidad
Una buena idea de diseño echada a perder por una infame calidad de fabricación

Amazing
I have used this for all my recent projects. it requires careful setup like any edge tool. it does not seem to need sharpening out of the box however. I find it even works with some diving grain if you cant the tool so the wood is barely riding in the brass track, and take very careful passes. makes quick work of uniform professional looking roundovers where only a router would work better.

Maybe I just don't do it right
Doesn't work for me, I will try to make it right but for now 2 twinkles...

Not sharp enough and very tricky to set up.
Very difficult to set the blades. And once set, the blades aren't sharp enough to get a good cut. Maybe if you are able to sharpen the carbide a bit more it would be better. I've just continued using my good old block plane.

Decepcionado.
la madera y el acabado de esta muy bien, al igual que el tamaño, pero...la calidad del acero PÉSIMA, no es capaz de cortar casi nada. No la recomiendo
