Works Well after Start Up Issues
This did not come with a UK adapter as was stated in the listing when bought, this meant one had to be quickly purchased as it was not suitable for use straight out of the box. When contacting Amazon and the seller both passed the blame to each other. The wave maker itself works well in my tank and isn’t as noisy as I anticipated. It was easy to set up and I like the idea of being able to control it outside of the tank.I do think that the actual control is a made of quite cheap materials but as it won’t be used an awful lot and is hidden away hopefully it should last. The magnet seems to be very strong keeping the wave maker exactly in place.

Like a payday loan.
Ok so if you decide to spend such a little amount on a wave maker then you do get what you pay for. It does work great for the amount of money but the life span is three months. I’ve bought this product twice now and the same issue has happened both times that the propeller has just stopped working. I went cheap on one end of my tank and expensive on the other and the Vortech I have is definitely a far better investment. The inconvenience of when this product dies and the impact on my tank isn’t worth the savings if you’re serious about your fish. Plus the cost of keep replacing this product is starting to add up to a better quality product.

dodgy adaptors
the adaptors are really cheap and nasty and for someone to send out this sort of poorly made/fitting product i would not even attempt to use the items. the seller is also really hard to deal with when trying to return them they wont acknowledge the claim so you get a qr code and want you to post them back which means youll lost the postage back to china and not get a refund for ages. sad experience

Great but......
Marvellous bit of kit but we found that it interfered with our WiFi signal! ( took us days to realise our new poor connection was due to this!)The down side to the wireless wave maker which is a shame as it was a great bit of kit for any marine enthusiast. Sad to pack it away.

Perfect for a nano reef
I have the SW-2 in a 25l cube reef aquarium. Even on its lowest setting the flow is huge, and the pulsing/ variable flow is really nice.Quiet too. Feeding mode is handy. Magnetic fastener is super powerful and far better than a rubber sucker. Great little pump. My only beef is the nasty uk plug adapter- I am sourcing a uk- specific power supply for it...

Good for the price
This is my second one of these wave makers. I bought the smallest of the range in December 2019 for my small reef tank and now just purchased the SW-8 for the large reef tank I'm currently setting up. The small one so far has been 100% reliable and well pleased with it, hopefully the SW8 will be as good. One thing you may notice when you first start using the wavemaker is motor or impeller noise. After a few weeks of use it becomes less noisy and hardly noticeable if at all. Although shipped from China, it arrived a week earlier than expected. Overall I'm happy with my purchase's of the two wave makers

So loud it sounds like a mobile phone on vibrate in your fish tank
Sent it straight back as it was the loudest pump I've ever heard, was literally like i had a mobile phone on vibrate 24/7 in my fish tank. maybe i got a faulty one or maybe it's just that loud.
