Beautiful!
The blue gem is what caught my eye on this knife, then the elaborate Celtic knotwork design. I don't plan on using it much, but I'm sure it can do what a knife needs to do, and it is quite hefty. I wanted it more for decorative purposes, but it seems quite sturdy.

Heavier than expected
This is a nice piece, but probably too heavy to carry in kilt hose. I expected something much less bulky and large. Will keep it but likely buy another for regular use.

VERY misleading picture
The item photo is VERY misleading. It appears that the red gem at the butt end of the dagger is 3D, a rounded plastic gem.In fact, it is FLAT. It is a flat oval with visible glue around it. Because it is flat, when you turn it over, the gem is not visible and all. The dagger is very cheesy looking in person compared to the way it was photographed.Another thing, on the "front" side, there are weird circles stamped in the handle.The inside of the "Brand New" dagger box is dented up - and it's not shipping damage.The plastic sheath has scuffs or damage on the package.I am attaching two photos of the front and back clearly showing the following: flat gem with glue, strange imprinted circles, the odd looking back, and the scuffy plastic.

Very disappointing!
The photos fail to show that this knife's handle is "flat", not thick like others that are similar in appearance! VERY DISAPPOINTING!

Good ladies dagger!
Very sturdy knife. It is kind of heavy so I believe it is made out of good materials. Can't wait to adorn my costume.
