cut not short enough, no more adjustment. Scatters grass on borders and path, only picks up a fraction of cut grass. Should have returned this earlier, doesn't seem to be a choice to return now, very disappointed with this mower. I will have to buy a different mower and scrap this one.

Good powerful mower. Bought in replacement for a 25 year old flymo and was pleased with the results. Comes semi assembled with just a handle and cable to attach. Easy to set ride height with the turn of a switch on the front. Good powerful motor enables a smooth glide across the grass. Even my 70 year old mum had a quick go and was able to push it around.Easy to turn on a penny rather than fighting with a fixed wheel mower. Good sized grass box fairly easy to lift out. Not made with the strongest gage of plastic so careful use over time with the grass box and cover is the key. Good looking design and fairly light to lift. Only two minor grumbles. The handle could be a little taller and the cable needs to be a little bit longer. That aside a great mower for an average size garden. Would recommend this mower to anyone looking for a straightforward easy to use mower

I have been using Flymo for over 40 years. My last machine a 330 compact lasted for over 15 years ( with a few homemade repairs ) and was simple to use, did a great job and was easy to clean and maintain. I purchased this latest 330 glider compact after my old machine died half way through cutting my front garden. I read a lot of reviews and the good ones were very promising so I checked the bad reviews and thought that people were kidding when they wrote them. I tend to take a balanced view and decided the good outdid the bad. Big mistake on my part!! Machine was delivered last night, easy enough to build then left to be used today27/06/22. As previously stated half the grass in the front garden had been cut and I expected to cut the rest in about 15 minutes. Not a big patch of grass but took 45 minutes as I had to keep going over same strip several times as it was not picking grass up. Had it on lowest setting but still left grass looking longer than the previous machine. My next job was the back garden about 20 square metres. Was going to take forever when my neighbour loaned me his Flymo(old style) and the job was done in about 40 minutes. Why change a design that has worked for years for something that does not do the fundamentals i.e.cut grass and pick up the grass that it has cut. Grass collection in old machine was inside the machine New machine it is outside the skirt. Blade appears very flimsy compared to old model. Does not hover as well, possibly because of new grass collection system and machine appears flimsier and would not last as long as previous. Tried to call Flymo but gave up after 2 calls of 35 and 47 minutes of hanging on. Contacted Amazon who were first class and arranged to have machine uplifted after I spent 90 minutes cleaning machine that couldn't manage half a garden. Back to the drawing board for new machine, might try a different manufacturers. Should have heeded the bad reviews and spared myself the grief.

Good mower for the smaller garden lawn. Light and easy to manoeuvre around and the adjustable height is a boon.

This is a cracking wee machine, it just isn't great for my garden. I bought this to replace my 18yo Turbo Compact 380 which was perfect for my garden - big blade, massive basket, detachable power cable. This appears to be the biggest hover that Flymo currently do but it just isn't big enough. My garden is long, not perfectly flat and has quite a high moss content - the cable is about 2-3m too short to allow me to cut a full length in one go (and is wired in so I can't replace it with a longer one), the handle is hinged very far back so mowing up slope can cause the tail to dig in and gouge and the basket fills up very quickly due to the moss meaning that I am constantly emptying it. Also, because of the way the height adjuster works the machine has lots of nooks and crannies for grass to get wedged in which not only makes it annoying to clean but the actual adjuster mechanism itself is easily clogged (I actually had to take the machine apart at one point to free it up to allow me to change cutting heights). If I had a smaller, flatter more lawn-y lawn this machine would be ideal. Unfortunately, I don't...

This thing cuts the grass nice and short. Because of the speed of the blades it even cut it first time with no effort. It has no issues with any blockages which I have had with other lawnmowers when it fills the collector. Empties really easy and cleaning is a breeze. Cord is a good length too.I'm very impressed with it and would recommend it highly.

A good price, but each Flymo I buy is less robust than the previous one.
