great unit
I'm not like other captains who want to watch a "big TV screen" while fishing- large enough to see details clearly but small enough not to get in the way of navigating when sitting at the helm- and yes can still see it from the back of the boat. It performs well- if not used Humminbird before spend some time getting used to the menus (lots of You tube videos on maximizing you unit's function for your use). After you can navigate the menu's easily you'll get used to pushing a lot of buttons quickly but at first it is a pain (I see why the touchscreen has become popular even if they get pretty smudged up).

Great Product
I've never installed one before and the instructions were clear and easy to follow. I would recommend purchasing a ball mount to aid in positioning during use, This is a fabulous product and am considering purchasing another to mount by the trolling motor that will link to this one.

Amazing product!
It is easily the best fish finder I have ever used! I will never be without it unless I’m on someone else’s boat. I sold my boat and now I’m trying to save up to get another one. Great product!

Great unit
This is by far the best unit I have ever had. It has the best screen out of all of the lowrances that I’ve had in the past and comes with everything you need.

Lack of fit of transducer to trolling motor
I purchased a Humminbird helix 9 mega gen 3 SI + DI. I contacted hummingbird to find out what mount I needed for my 1200.00 Terrova trolling motor. They gave me this part number for this bracket to mount my SI transducer to my terrova trolling motor. When I received it the transducer that came with my Humminbird unit would not fit the terrova Trolling motor. I called Humminbird and told them my problem. They then told me there was not a mounting bracket that would fit my terrova motor at all. So I am stuck with a 1500.00 unit and 1200.00 motor that will not let me mount the transducer to my trolling motor. So I am out the month consider that I bought the minnkota terrova with my boat 6 Months ago. Unless I make my own mounting bracket to to adapt the transducer to the motor. Shame on you minnkota and minnkota which are one company for not making an adapter to fit the transducer to the terrova i-Pilot trolling motor. But it’s all about money. You want everyone to buy a 3,000.00 motor to use you mega imaging.

Is this gonna Sync?
I can't give it a review as I just purchased the Helix 9, Mega SI, Chirp, GPS---all the "Megas". My question is---Does this unit have to be on the bow of the boat to sync to the Minnkota Ultrex troll motor when I purchase that?

Everything is as advertised so far. Still need more time on the water with it. Very clear display.
