I searched for ages to find a bin that suited my family of 4! I wanted equal general waste to recycling compartments to get rid of a separate bag I had for recycling that drove me mad!!I know there was complaint about the battery life but I guess it’s down to the batteries you use. I bought decent batteries and have had the bin 3 months ago and haven’t changed them yet and no sign of them running out. I’m at home every day working and we’ve been in lockdown so it’s been used tons every day!I wrote this review because I genuinely am so pleased with it! We’ve even got a new puppy that has been scratching at the sides like mad and as you can there’s not a scratch to be seen!You can even have the option just to press open so it stays open whilst working in the kitchen without opening and closing it.

Been looking for a decent split bin for recycling and household waste and been hard to find in most major stores. It is on the pricey side, but if you want a bin that doesn't take up to much space and can hold alot of waste in it then this is for you. This bin is solid so you haven't got to worry about damage to it.Also it has a sensor on it which is good as you don't have to touch the bin at all and it will open for approx 10secs before shutting again. If you need to spend longer with the bin lid open just press the open button and it will keep it in that position until pressing close which will reset it to default setting. There is a red power button at the back that can disable the sensor if you want. Overall a decent bin and it does make it easier for recycling especially teaching the kids.

Good bin. I like the bag holders and they grip well so your rubbish does not topple down the side of the bin liner. The sensor works well. It would be good if customers were told that batteries are needed for the sensor

Even though it is pricey, it is exactly what we’ve been looking for. And we’ve been trying to find a good value for money for months. It is sturdy, very well balanced, easy to clean and pull out the bags, rings fit like a glove, as does the lid. We bought the size 2x35l, although it seems even bigger. Fits perfectly on the side of our kitchen cabinets-depth 60cm, doesn’t stick out anywhere. The sensor is working as described, when I have full hands all I need to do is go over it and it’ll open at an amazing speed. Closes at reasonable time as well and if I need to, I can leave it open with a press of a button. Helps me even more than I’d thought it will. Shipping was fast and came earlier than it said it would. Only thing I would be happier with if it was a little bit more stylish because of the price, but that’s just my personal opinion.

Functioned ok for a while but the motor on the bin lid gave up before even a year of use

I love my new bin! I really need to get out more because I've become attached to it - the sensor gives it an anthropomorphic quality!The quality is good. It's robust. A bit heavy if needing to move around (cleaning floor), and doesn't have a handle. But I'm delighted with it.I wasn't sure whether the capacity of each side would be big enough for standard 70L bin bags, yet when I empty I find they are quite full.Definitely recommend.

The media could not be loaded. Sensor never works... Company logo pealing off, screew keeps pulling out of the screw hole. Only had the bin for 1 day and it's falling apart! pedal bin would be much easier to use!! Such a disappointment will be returning

Wanted separate bins for waste and recycling.This is brilliant. Expectations exceeded. Very happy with product and competitively priced against similar products. Original batteries still working fine.

Esta bien tener el basura en dos compartamentos general i plastic .E leído que es difícil de limpiar si sería pero yo voy con cuidado que no llenolas bolsas así no estará sucio ni abajo ni a la tapa.Será perfecto si los pilas dura un año , ya veremos como otro comentario era que no duraba .Ya lo tengo hace dos meses i medio .Ruido hace un poco no es lo más caro producto entonces el mecanismo no será perfecto .Es mucho mejor que uno normal i me gusta que no tienes que abrir con el mano siempre .Escribo esto porque pienso que es un buen producto por el preco

Der Mülleimer ist wirklich klasse. Alleine schon dass man nicht mehr mit den Händen oder Füßen den Mülleimer öffnen muss ist super komfortabel.Der Sensor ist aber etwas merkwürdig eingestellt, da der Mülleimer oft aufgeht wenn man nur daran vorbei geht. Ein anderes Mal fällt einem dann der Deckel auf die Hand wenn man gerade etwas von einem Brettchen in den Müll kratzt. Aber das passiert nur bei Faulheit, da für längeres 'Fuchteln' über den Eimern kann man die OPEN Taste drücken und der Deckel bleibt so lange oben bis man CLOSE drückt.Links haben wir den gelben Sack drin, der passt gut rein und kann im Eimer direkt zu circa 60-70% gefüllt werden. Eine Runde damit durchs Haus und den Müll aus anderen Zimmern dazu, hat man den gelben Sack voll. Auf der anderen Seite haben wir einen 25L Müllbeutel drin hängen für Restmüll, der schwebt bei circa 50% der Höhe im Eimer in der Luft. Zuerst hatte ich Angst dass das nicht hält, es hält aber wirklich gut. Selbst nachdem die Schale einer großen Wassermelone und sonstiger beim Kochen angefallener Müll drin lag dachte ich eher dass der Beutel reißt.Besucher sind auch jedes Mal total begeistert von diesem Mülleimer.
