These InDicol holders are THEE only holder. They are made in the USA, more specifically they are made in Janesville, Wisconsin. I'm currently going to school for CNC technician and I'm in the first year of my technical degree. The first thing we learn is manual mills and manual lathes. I have used mutiple different brands for tramming heads of mills in and this is the best brand I have came across.

This is the brand name product. Pricey but ultimately worth it because it works every time no hassle and no constant tightening.

This is a beefier version from the previous Indicols I've used. Well made, the fit and finish is top notch. I use this to tram in my mill and center parts in my vise. For me it's the fastest and easiest way to indicate in a hole and I would consider it a necessary tool for any level of machinist.

Typical apprentice mistake. Rather than engaging the table feed, I turned the spindle on. Glad to say this thing took a beating and still works! The friction on these bushings are incredible and it holds in place very well without having to apply crazy amounts of torque on the screws! Arrived fast and looking good.

I purchased this indicol after becoming more and more frustrated by the cheap Chinese version I had. As a professional machinist, I rely on my tools to put food on the table and the indicol has my full faith. It stays where I position it but you don't have to use a set of pliers to crank down on the screws to get it to hold. I also have the "adjustol" product which makes fine positioning a breeze. Fits the quill of bridgeport style machines as well as the vast majority of CAT40 tool holders. Like the Interapid indicator, the genuine indicol is a basic piece of kit that every machinist needs in their box.

Works perfect spend the money here and save the headsche with the chewpos thei fail and make you as a machinist look bad. Also why are all these people leaving reviews and saying i bought for friend "looks solid" ans givie it fives stars or another one said " i have not ised yet but looks good" also 5 stars??? People dont put a review if tou have not personally used it this is like clasd 101 on reviews for idiots! Please no one cares if u think it looks nice.

Arrived Saturday, I used for first time today(Monday) Excellent; easy to use, easy to set up, easy to store, very accurate. No complaints at all.
