I had tried to find the right cable for my hilips Portable DVD player. Had bought one at Radio Shack upon recommendation from sales person, but it was incorrect. Went to Best Buy & an electronic video expert looked on the internet & found what I needed. I was very pleased that I could order this on Amazon. It arrived faster than I expected & was thrilled that it worked perfectly. When I plugged in the audio/video cables in this & plugged the audio/video end into the tv, it worked perfectly. I am so very pleased. I've been searching for this "connector" for a very long time. Now I am "happy, happy, happy!"

i had ordered for a Toshiba portable DVD player model # Sd-P1400 I was wondering why it wasn't working I also need a s-video cable

Make sure you match the make and model number exactly and it should work fine. But not all 3.5mmpkugs are the same so make sure your exact DVD player, etc is listed.

Work exactly as intended.....had lost original tv connector for SAMSUNG TV and SAMSUNG doesn't sell replacement parts as I needed.Worked great as a replacement connector... Thanks

Works just like any other cable. Easy to install. No troubles to report and I would recommend it to anyone.

Worked perfectly and still is currently working. Securely stays plugged. Plugged into my portable dvd player into av cords into my tv.
