Well Made - Heavy Duty - Fits Perfectly
Yes, this sink grid is a bit over-priced... but where else but American Standard are you going to be able to get a sink grid that exactly matches the shape of your Raleigh sink?Actually, the price isn't all that unreasonable. The wires of this grid are 2 - 3 times the thickness of many generic grids... this grid is heavy and sturdy (not going to bend or break when you put a heavy pot or pan full of water on it) . Plus, it has been carefully welded and plated, and the ends of the wires have been finished... cut at an angle or rounded so as not to be sharp.Even the packaging is first rate. This grid was delivered in a cardboard sleeve, that was inside a carton between 2 thick layers of foam padding. Fully protected from being bent or otherwise damaged during shipment. It fits the Raleigh sink perfectly, standing close to 1 inch off the sink bottom.

Get One You’ll Be Glad You Did
Got this to go with our new sink. Works perfectly and keeps dishes off the bottom of the sink. My only issue is with American Standard. We purchased a sink/faucet combo from Lowe’s and had to purchase the grid separately. Kinda think it should be included in the package! Anyway it shipped quick, arrived in good form, and fit perfectly. Very happy a must have for a stainless steel sink.

Worth the money
Wish I would have bought as soon as sink was put in but didn't have money at the time but worth every penny when I finally bit the bullet and bought it. My husband even loves it!

sink grid
It keeps your sink from getting scratched, the price is ridiculous! I paid 266.00 for the sink faucet included, and 82 bucks for a piece of wire!! Amazon is 18 dollars cheaper than Lowes, they sell it for 100 bucks even.. if you aren't worried about the appearance of your sink then this is probably a waste of money...American standard says not to use abrasive cleaner on your stainless steel sink, which leads me to believe the sink is not really ss, but an alloy..

It's a wire grid alright
It's hard to write a review of a wire grid. It's sturdy and strong. It has standoffs--I haven't measured them but I'd guess 1/2", with plastic covers so it keeps your dishes off the bottom of the sink itself. Good for drainage, minimizing dings if you drop something, and doubles as a cooling rack for cakes and pies if you need it.It's pricey but I don't feel ripped off (just strung a bit). I'd do it again if I have to buy another sink and the grid is offered. But I would have been a little happier if it had come standard, not as an accessory.

Much needed overpriced well-built.
Much needed product. It helps keep from scratching the bottom of the sink. It appears to be well-made and of good quality. However I think the price is high for what it is. That being said I still purchase it because it was the only option.

Check before you buy
