Good product, excellent customer service
The adapter works great - I’ve been dying to play Fight Night 2004 again after all these years, and now I can thanks to Level Hike.I had to contact customer service for support and they were very responsive and resolved my issue extremely quickly. The adapter seems reasonably durable. It’s great to be able to connect via HDMI for better video quality and simpler connection. I couldn’t be happier.

Looks amazing for the price
Most HDMI adapters for PS2 are super cheap, bad quality, and fail over time. I had to return a different one because the video was too blurry. This one has held up and works great. Using on a 4K Sony Bravia TV and it looks great, especially for the price. It's not going to make your 480p games look 4K or any extreme upscaling but it has no grain and is clear.Ease of Use: It plugs into the back of the PS2 and then connect to its little box. The box has an HDMI cord that goes to your TV. The box needs its own power source and comes with a micro-USB cable. I just plug it into my TVs USB port when in use and unplug it when I'm done. I wouldn't recommend leaving it plugged in all the time as I've heard it can lead to it failing over time, but I have not had any issues.

Perfect for ps1. Good for ps2
Works great for my ps1. Imagine clarity is WAY better than the old school AV cables. On a hdtv, using AV cables is almost unplayable with how poor the Image is. This device is a must. And for the ps2 its also good, it's the same image clarity as using component cables.

Doesn't work properly on Sony TV
The media could not be loaded. I bought this hdmi converter to use on my Sony TV since it's in my bedroom. It unfortunately looked weird (as seen on the images how the left is stretched over to the right). The image is also unstable (constantly shaking left and right) as well as the controller feeling slightly delayed at times. I could never figure out the fix, or why it was like this, so I gave up. I emailed levelhike too, and they were very friendly about it, but they also haven't gotten back to me with a definitive answer as to why it doesn't work properly for my Sony TV. I've seen another review on Amazon (as well as a few comments on youtube) that this hdmi also didn't work properly for their Sony TVs and it's just strange and frustrating. Anyway, I have a Samsung TV in the living room so I decided I might as well try it out there. Turns out it worked perfectly fine on that TV. Absolutely no issues with the image, and the controller feels more responsive. I feel like it even looked sharper/more clear too. For some reason, it looked a little off and blurry on my Sony but again I don't know why. Maybe the other brand, Hyperkin, might work better with Sony TVs but I don't know as I have yet to try it out. I gave this 4 stars because of how great it was to finally play my PS2 again after many years in storage. I really want to give it 5 stars, but since it doesn't work on my Sony TV, and since levelhike hasn't emailed me back with an answer to my question (I asked if they thought it was Sony themselves that lacked support for these types of cables) then I just have to give it 4 stars. I'll try to update my review if they ever get back to me about what they think as it seems like an ongoing issue. But I will say that I actually bought their other hdmi converter for Gamecube, and it surprisingly worked pretty good on my Sony TV. The image quality was a little worse than PS2 (to be expected) but I had no issues at all with that one.Edit: I tried the other brand, Hyperkin, but it unfortunately had the exact same issues. I will say that maybe Hyperkin looked slightly sharper with the image compared to Levelhike, but the only drawback is that you can't use your own Hdmi to plug into, it already comes with one and it's a medium size in case anyone wanted to get one.

Updated Review - Everything working great, a fine product for the price
UPDATE: 1 star to 5 stars, thanks to great customer service!I had originally posted the review below and had some significant frustrations with the product. After posting the review, a rep from LevelHike contacted me and was sincerely interested in helping resolve the issue. They stated that the product I unfortunately originally received was defective, and they assured me that a replacement would not have the same issue. They were right! I can now enjoy my classic slim PS2 on my HDMI compatible TV, with zero issues. The picture looks great and the cable and housing are solid - nothing on the product is sensitive to the touch like the previous item I had received.Outside of the product itself, I would like to commend them for taking the steps to work with a less-than-satisfied customer. It is not often that you find this level of post-sale service, and this company does want to create a well made product that customers will be happy with - and it shows.I have no issue recommending this product to friends that want to get their retro-gaming system working on their modern TVs. Thanks LevelHike!========ORIGINAL REVIEW BELOW========I purchased this cable to try and get the best possible picture out of my PS2 and modern TV. I read a few reviews and figured why not, it's got to be better than the composite cables that came with the console, right? I couldn't have been more wrong. The device ships in a small cardboard box. It includes all the cables you would need to hook up to your HDMI based TV, as well as a basic instruction manual. It's quite easy to use - you plug in the HDMI cable to your monitor, the av port to the PS2, and the USB cable to the device and then the PS2 USB port. You then need to configure the PS2 to use RGB output by going into the PS2 menu. After setup, I immediately noticed that the colors were not correct. They seemed washed out. So I made sure the device was plugged in properly to the PS2. Then everything went to a green tint. Touched the device again, it went back to color. Strange. So I tried playing a game. Everything was fine for 30 seconds, until it went to a green tint again. Touch the cable, back to washed out colors. Touch it again, back to a green tint. Wonderful. These are obviously the tell-tale signs of a poorly made electronic device.Enough of this, it's getting sent back to Amazon. I switched to using proper component cables and an HDMI upscaler - and I couldn't be happier. Your mileage may vary.

Excellent adapter all around.
This adapter has breathed new life for my collection. I've never experienced my games with this resolution. The adapter box may get hot after a while, but it still performs in superb functionality. I highly recommend if you are seeking an outlet with great visuals for your older games. Even the audio panning is beautifully executed!
