I love, love
We were looking to replace our 10 year old fan with something new. I looked for just the right fan for well over a year. It had to be the right style, right size and, most importantly the right price. This fan hit all those points (especially the price point), just right. I had to hire an electrician to install because I have very high ceilings, but he had it up in no time flat. I love, love, love the remote control that controls the fan and lights. This fan has the classic look that I wanted and it works like a charm.

Nice fans, glad I got them as they would have been closer to $200 locally
Nice lights and well balanced when installed. They take a bit of time to install but don't all ceiling fans take a while to install. I've only had two issues with the fan: They have the GU24 base 13W CFL bulbs and I wanted to put LEDs in there (I got the GU24 to E27 converts and you have to slightly twist the frame upwards on where the lights mount to clear the fixture if you put in the 9.5W LEDs, be very careful when bending or you could mess up the frame) the other issue was after installing the light I later realized one of the glass lamp covers was cracked (it wasn't visible from one side and the other day with the lights on and walking from the other direction I saw the crack so I'll have to find a new one). I haven't had to do any balancing of the blades. One thing to remember is to make sure you don't have a trimmer/dimmer feeding the fixture or it makes a weird noise. I just replaced the dimmer with a regular switch. I didn't install the remote control module. Wasn't sure if it was going to fit but didn't really want two plastic remotes for two lights and I'm not too lazy to use the pull cords (and yes the pull cords have the light and fan emblem embedded in them for easy of selection.

I wish i hadn't put this light up...would have returned.
Horrible light....not bright enough even with higher wattage. Has special bulbs you cannot find in stores and have to order online.

Nice but not fully functional
The ceiling fans are nice however, none of the remote controller units worked. So essentially they are simple ceiling fans without remote controls; not exactly what was advertised

If your light is dim
Great looking, great price. However, our lights were very dim. Turns out it was the fault of the remote. Bypass the remote and your lights will be bright. To see how bright they would be, hold the fan off button for 3 seconds. The lights will flash and then go bright for 15 seconds. That's how bright they will be when you bypass the remote. For some reason the lights were stuck on 50% brightness.

Handsome functional fan for the study
Very pleased with this fan installed in small office room, enjoy having a remote so that I don't need to jump up and down to adjust the comfort level and turn light on-off. I imagine it could cool a larger room. I'm running it at L or M.Styling is handsome. The one star off is for the light bowl design that is all too common. It creates a strobe pattern on the ceiling and bugs accumulate. I wish more fans had sealed light kits. But as designed it works very well.

PROBLEM AFTER PROBLEM
We actually bought these from Costco 5 years ago. We purchased 13 of them for our new home. One by one they are all breaking down. The first one only took about a year, but now we have problems with half of them. One of them the light won't work, another he fan won't turn on, and remote control issues galore! We had these professionally installed by a licensed electrician so I know this wasn't our fault. We bought these on sale at Costco for about $80 or so and they we not even worth that!
