I bought this to use in an Arlo VMB 5000 base unit. I hate that the new base units have no local storage and Arlo wants to sell you cloud storage. I also hate that the new Arlo 4 camera system I bought (without researching) to replace an old system did not sync to my old Arlo base unit and would only work with a subscription to cloud storage. Thats where this card came in to save the day! I discovered after a lot of conflicting research that the cameras would only sync to an Arlo VMB 5000 (with no local storage). However, the VMB 5000 has a tiny slot in the bottom for a Micro SD card. This product saved the day and now I have 4 high resolution security cameras with solar panels synced to a base and Gigastone 256GB card holds a lot of data!

So far so good. Using on security cam so needs to hold up over the long haul. About a monin as of this review.

Install and works great in a dash cam

I bought the 256GB version to use for extra phone storage - storage is fast - no problem loading 10GB of pictures and several hundred MB of apps - worked perfectly for about 3 weeks, photos and numerous movies downloaded. - NOW - phone reports errors writing new photos to SD card - reboot phone several times, errors on mounting SD card - pulled the card and reinserted; still errors on mounting the SD card. - I pulled card and attempted to read via Windows 10 PC - reinserted card in phone - and it's working fine - several reboots of phone - and it's still working fine It's a pain, but I don't trust the SD card any more. Started replacement process with Gigastore. ** I will update review with details on replacement. It's a pain to replace on the phone - as apps need to be re-downloaded and configured. **

Non so come fare test per vedere la velocità oggettiva del trasferimento file, posso solo garantire che lo spazio di archiviazione è coerente a quanto dichiarato, che la velocità di trasferimento non mi ha mai dato problemi nemmeno con video 4k e che per ora non ha mai perso dati, mai stata necessaria formattazione o altro. Non sarà un commento molto tecnico, ma questa scheda fa tutto quello che promette e mi ci trovo bene: ci sono supporti più cari ed anche più economici, io ho scelto la via di mezzo e mi sembra un buon compromesso.
