Zuri Furniture Black Rochelle Adjustable Height Swivel Armless Bar Stool

These bar stools are not inexpensive but they're well made and comfortable. The seats are thick synthetic leather that looks like it will hold up. Zippers underneath and in back presumably make them removable. The stools are heavy and sturdy -- they don't feel tipsy even at the highest setting. The hydraulic mechanism in the pedestal works smoothly and the base has a rubber ring to protect the floor. They're comfortable in a bar-stool kind of way, not a watch-TV-for-hours kind of way. Oddly enough, one has slightly more back support than the other (and I double checked to make sure I had assembled it right). If my relatives notice it I suppose I could add some washers to the two bolts in the back to tip the seat forward just a pinch. The box was well packed; the chairs arrived undamaged (two in one box). The assembly instructions were diagrams and numbers, very little text, but clear enough. An L-shaped hex key is included; a flashlight helps to line up the four pre-drilled holes to the base. The only thing that was confusing is there are two sizes of rubber washers -- the 5mm is labeled #10 and the 10mm is labeled #5. Do the people who draw these ever think? Also I had to make an assumption where the different sized rubber washers were supposed to go, i.e. back vs. front. I am a 69-year-old woman and it took me about an hour to assemble the two chairs.

Ordered one of these stools, and when it arrived, the red seat was a brighter red then expected, and the base was a shiny chrome. Our kitchen is very black metal and wood/rustic feel, and we wanted a pop of color, but this seemed too bright. We then looked high and low and could not find another option that was as comfortable, well built, attractive and with this price point, so we decided to go ahead and order 3 more chairs, and decided we would try to spray paint the bases with a hammered steel look spray paint. Well..... when the next 3 chairs arrived, we were amazed as the new stools were a slightly deeper red color with a brushed metal base and were PERFECT for what we were going for! No spray paint needed!We contacted the company, and they immediately shipped out a new stool and gave us a label to return the bright red stool. We received the new stool 2 days later, even before we returned the wrong one! Stools are great, we use them on our extra tall island (39") and they work great. Super comfy and a great pop for our home! Thanks so much!

Beautiful stools that are very well made. I bought one for my kitchen high-counter, and then turned around two days later and bought another. Really comfortable seat and back that are easy to clean. It's also nice to be able to move them up and down, i.e. for my 5 year old grandson I can move the chair up to make him at the right height. The first chair was a little difficult to put together mostly because I'm not very strong! But much easier with the second chair. I understand Zuri makes these in different colors, that's great because they would make a fine addition to any color scheme.

'Zuri Furniture Black Rochelle adjustable bar stool is a work of art. Zuri Rochelle is very ergonomic design looks good around any kitchen island. When you sit down on it the chair, it fits like a glove. Also, it is very comfortable. You could adjust the height easily. In addition, I had no problems putting it together. I am giving it a thumps up on this product. You will definitely enjoy it.

This chair is very well made and extremely easy to assemble (basically three pieces). Hex wrench is provided. It’s perfect for online meetings and training. Very comfortable and solid.

These barstools are top quality! I initially had concerns because the red seats did not match. But with Zuri Furniture's excellent customer service they made it right! These are my kitchen barstools and they are really comfortable and we'll made. I love the high back which provides excellent support. Can't say enough about them.
