I gave these Vol 1 and 2 six stars each. I loved the stories, the island hopping and very good mysteries. I took a few pages for the island jargon to seem natural but it did happen. The islands are calling and I must go after reading these books. Aloha Chip.

Love the surfing detective. He is no saint but he has a good heart and a great a t sense of humor. The plots are not the same old thing. Love the Hawaiian settings.

Intrigue is in both novels. The author pulls together fascinating plots and weaves them together to make an interesting read.

The Hawaiian locale gave this mystery a little "quirky" feel compared to other mysteries. The stories woven in and around the beautiful settings were well written and thought out. Good read!"
