not bad though it's about twice as deep as it should be, maybe have the manufacturer redesign it to be only 3 inches deep, I cut mine in half and it works WAY better now with coal, 5 inches is too far from the hottest part of the fire if you are working long stock you have to bend it to reach the hot-spot.
